Stay Tuned is comedic, and it portrays demons who operate a television station with gameshows that kill their participants. The film features comedic concepts for dark gameshows in which contestants die or are damaged during their runtime. The protagonist and his wife must survive for 24 hours in the hellscape of television land and become closer as a result.
This movie is visionary. It has alot of campy show parodies and somehow hits the mark. The concept is as relevant today as ever, with social media as a focal point on a remake. Social media is as dangerous as television today.
