How are your friends? I hope everyone is well and I am well too. Today, as always, I am here with a fictional story and I am going to present this interesting story now, so let's get started.

There lived a poor woodcutter in a village. He used to buy some wood from the forest and sell it in the market. The woodcutter was very poor and he bought an axe with a lot of difficulty and that axe was his most valuable asset. One day the woodcutter went to the forest to cut wood and while cutting wood the woodcutter got very tired so he sat under a tree and rested for a while. In the meantime, the woodcutter fell asleep.

Then when the woodcutter woke up, he saw that it was evening, so he walked towards the tree, but as he was walking, his axe fell from his hand. Then he searched the river for the axe, but he could not find it. Then the woodcutter sat by the river and started crying. After a while, a nymph came out of the river and asked the woodcutter why he was crying.

In response to the nymph's question, the woodcutter replied that his woodcutter's axe had fallen into the water and he could not find it, and if he could not find it, how would he cut wood from the tree? Then the nymph dived into the water and brought out a golden axe for him, and showed it to the woodcutter and asked, "Is this his axe?" The woodcutter replied, "No." Then he brought out a silver axe again and said, "Is this his axe?"
The woodcutter replied again, "It's also a no." Then the nymph came out of the water again and brought the woodcutter's real axe and showed him whether it was his axe or not. Then the woodcutter answered yes. Then the nymph tested the woodcutter's honesty and saw that the woodcutter was telling the truth. Then the woodcutter lived there and gave him the rest of the axes along with that axe. Then the woodcutter went home happily. After several months, the woodcutter went to the forest with his wife one day and went to show his wife the forest environment. While looking at the forest environment, his wife fell into the river.
Then the woodcutter looked for his wife in the river but did not find her. Then the woodcutter was sitting by the river and again the nymph came up and asked what happened. The woodcutter said that his wife was lost. Then the nymph again brought a very beautiful girl and asked if she was his wife. The woodcutter said yes, this is my wife. Then she insisted again and said, "Look carefully and tell me if this is your wife." The woodcutter said, "Yes, this is my wife."Yes, this is my wife because if I say no to this, you will bring three wives and then give me three wives. I cannot afford to have three wives. I am very poor, so I said yes to this one. Then the fairy was again impressed by the honesty of the woodcutter and then she gave the three wives to the woodcutter and seeing the woodcutter's honesty, this time the fairy proposed marriage to the woodcutter. Then the woodcutter was in great danger because he was worried about how he would manage four wives.
এক গ্রামে একজন দরিদ্র কাঠুরিয়া বাস করত। সে বন থেকে কিছু কাঠ কিনে বাজারে বিক্রি করত। কাঠুরিয়া খুবই দরিদ্র ছিল এবং সে অনেক কষ্টে একটি কুড়াল কিনেছিল এবং সেই কুড়ালটি ছিল তার সবচেয়ে মূল্যবান সম্পদ। একদিন কাঠুরিয়া কাঠ কাটতে বনে গেল এবং কাঠুরিয়া খুব ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়ল তাই সে একটি গাছের নীচে বসে কিছুক্ষণ বিশ্রাম নিল। এর মধ্যে, কাঠুরিয়া ঘুমিয়ে পড়ল।
তারপর যখন কাঠুরিয়া ঘুম থেকে উঠল, সে দেখল সন্ধ্যা হয়ে গেছে, তাই সে গাছের দিকে এগিয়ে গেল, কিন্তু হাঁটতে হাঁটতে তার হাত থেকে কুড়ালটি পড়ে গেল। তারপর সে নদীর ধারে কুড়ালটি খুঁজল, কিন্তু সে তা খুঁজে পেল না। তারপর কাঠুরিয়া নদীর ধারে বসে কাঁদতে লাগল। কিছুক্ষণ পর, নদী থেকে একটি জলপরী বেরিয়ে এসে কাঠুরিয়াকে জিজ্ঞাসা করল কেন সে কাঁদছে।
জলপরীটির প্রশ্নের উত্তরে কাঠুরিয়া উত্তর দিল যে তার কাঠুরিয়ার কুঠারটি পানিতে পড়ে গেছে এবং সে তা খুঁজে পাচ্ছে না, এবং যদি সে তা খুঁজে না পায়, তাহলে সে গাছ থেকে কাঠ কাটবে কীভাবে? তারপর জলপরী জলে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়ে তার জন্য একটি সোনার কুঠার বের করে এনে কাঠুরিয়াকে দেখিয়ে জিজ্ঞাসা করল, "এটি কি তার কুঠার?" কাঠুরিয়া উত্তর দিল, "না।" তারপর সে আবার একটি রূপার কুঠার বের করে বলল, "এটি কি তার কুঠার?"
কাঠুরিয়া আবার উত্তর দিল, "এটিও না।" তারপর জলপরী আবার জল থেকে বেরিয়ে এসে কাঠুরিয়ার আসল কুঠারটি নিয়ে এসে তাকে দেখাল যে এটি তার কুঠার কিনা। তারপর কাঠুরিয়া হ্যাঁ উত্তর দিল। তারপর জলপরী কাঠুরিয়ার সততা পরীক্ষা করে দেখল যে কাঠুরিয়া সত্য বলছে। তারপর কাঠুরিয়া সেখানে থাকল এবং তাকে সেই কুঠার সহ বাকি কুঠারগুলিও দিয়ে দিল। তারপর কাঠুরিয়া খুশি মনে বাড়ি ফিরে গেল। কয়েক মাস পর, কাঠুরিয়া একদিন তার স্ত্রীকে নিয়ে বনে গেল এবং তার স্ত্রীকে বনের পরিবেশ দেখাতে গেল। বনের পরিবেশ দেখতে দেখতে তার স্ত্রী নদীতে পড়ে গেল।
তারপর কাঠুরিয়া নদীতে তার স্ত্রীকে খুঁজতে লাগল কিন্তু তাকে পেল না। তারপর কাঠুরিয়া নদীর ধারে বসে ছিল এবং আবার জলপরী এসে জিজ্ঞাসা করল কি হয়েছে। কাঠুরিয়া বলল যে তার স্ত্রী হারিয়ে গেছে। তারপর জলপরী আবার একটি খুব সুন্দরী মেয়েকে নিয়ে এসে জিজ্ঞাসা করল যে সে কি তার স্ত্রী। কাঠুরিয়া বলল হ্যাঁ, এটা আমার স্ত্রী। তারপর সে আবার জোর দিয়ে বলল, "ভালো করে দেখো এবং আমাকে বলো এটা তোমার স্ত্রী কিনা।" কাঠুরিয়া বলল, "হ্যাঁ, এটা আমার স্ত্রী।
"হ্যাঁ, এটা আমার স্ত্রী কারণ আমি যদি এটাকে না বলি, তাহলে তুমি তিনজন স্ত্রী আনবে এবং তারপর আমাকে তিনজন স্ত্রী দেবে। আমি তিনজন স্ত্রী রাখার সামর্থ্য রাখতে পারি না। আমি খুব দরিদ্র, তাই আমি এই মেয়েটিকে হ্যাঁ বলেছি। তারপর কাঠুরিয়ার সততায় পরী আবার মুগ্ধ হয় এবং তারপর সে তিন স্ত্রীকে কাঠুরিয়ার হাতে তুলে দেয় এবং কাঠুরিয়ার সততা দেখে এবার পরী কাঠুরিয়ার কাছে বিয়ের প্রস্তাব দেয়। তখন কাঠুরি ভীষণ বিপদে পড়ে যায় কারণ সে চিন্তিত ছিল যে সে কীভাবে চার স্ত্রীকে সামলাবে।
