Hello friends, I hope everyone is well? Alhamdulillah I am fine.
I am @sheikhtuhin From #Bangladesh
Dear friends, Agrahayana month is going on.I have seen the significance of this month in Bengal since my childhood. Bengal i.e. West Bengal and Bangladesh belong to this culture. The month of Agrahayan was really celebrated in the Navanne festival where the main activity was pitha eating. The smoke of Pithapuli would fall during the Navanna festival and inside the book there would be some wonderful pictures of a farmer carrying a load of paddy on his head. This painting of mine is to highlight that tradition of Bengali today.Today I am currently drawing the beautiful familiar image of that Navanna of Bengal.
First let's say what I needed to do this drawing:
- white paper
- Pencil
- Colored pencils
- eraser
- The latest pencil cutter.
First step: |
---|
First, calculating the load of paddy that will be on the farmer's head.Although the first one is not understood, I have tried to explain it very clearly from the beginning and this is my great effort.I have very carefully tried to paint a picture of the common village farmer in a very simple manner.
Second step: |
---|
In the first step, only the image of a load of paddy emerged, but at this moment I tried to portray the smiling face of a farmer. The farmer's smile does not stop even at the moment of hard work while harvesting the harvest.I was able to capture the smile on the farmer's face a little bit at the moment and the picture looks great at the moment but I don't know how perfect I can capture it.
third step: |
---|
Usually most farmers use t-shirt while working. In this step, I have nicely illustrated the farmer's t-shirt with dirt on it, as well as the fact that it is impossible to carry the load of rice without two hands.Almost 80 percent of the picture of a rural farmer is finished, basically that much is in Navanna's picture, but more than that is shown in the book. I will also try to present the complete picture.
Fourth step: |
---|
Another attraction, the most famous dress is the Bengali lungi. This garment originated from Myanmar and reached India through present day Bengal.Lungi is very close to the farmer's hard work. Almost 100% of the picture is now highlighted. At the moment the image looks great to me and the whole picture is shown in Navanna with the paddy stems showing below.
Fifth step: |
---|
In the last step I colored the image nicely.Although my hand drawing is not that good but this was just my attempt. And here I have tried to color green and golden colors on the paddy although there is no golden color so I used yellow color. Also used red towel and lungi in blue and brown colors.I have used gray color and blue color in T-shirt.Combine everything and make the perfect color.
At the very end I added my steemit username and drawing date along with my photo. Finally I took a picture with this image hope you enjoy it very much.I am sharing my picture with this drawing here.
Dear friends I am very busy so I can't show my culture all the time.Navanna festival is a tradition of people of whole Bengal. Thanks for sustaining the Bengali tradition that has been going on for ages.Gratitude to the people of Bangladesh and Indian West Bengal. Everyone try to keep the bond of love intact. No one should try to spread hatred and violence.
Thank you very much everyone |
