টাকা আমাদের জীবনে খুবই মূল্যবান একটা সম্পদ। টাকা আমাদের প্রত্যেকটা কাজে ব্যবহার হয়। প্রত্যেকটা মানুষের টাকার প্রয়োজন। টাকা থাকলে সবার কাছ থেকে ভালোবাসা পাওয়া যায়।
আমি মাঝে মাঝে একটা কথা প্রায় শুনি, আমার মায়ের কাছ থেকে। টাকা থাকলে নাকি কাঠের পুতুল ও কথা বলতে পারে।

হ্যাঁ বন্ধুরা আজকে আমি তেমনই একটা বিষয় নিয়ে। ছোট্ট একটা গল্প আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করব।
একটা ঘরে দুইটা মেয়ে ছিল। বড় মেয়ের বিয়ে হয়েছে মোটামুটি পাঁচ ছয় বছর হয়েছে। আর ছোট মেয়ের বিয়ে হয়েছে এইতো বেশ কয়েকদিন হল।
বড় জামাই বেশ ভালো চাকরি করতো। হঠাৎ করেই কোন একটা কারণে ওনার চাকরিটা চলে যায়। বিশেষ করে আমরা সবাই জানি। যারা চাকরি রত অবস্থায় থাকে। তাদের চাকরি চলে গেলে, সংসারের কি অবস্থা হয়।
এমতাবস্থায় বড় জামাই শ্বশুরবাড়িতে বেড়াতে গেল। যেহেতু ওনার চাকরি চলে গেছে। হাতেও তেমন কোন টাকা পয়সা ছিল না। যাওয়ার সময় তেমন ভালো মন্দ কিছুই নিতে পারলেন না। রাতে তাকে ভাত দেওয়া হয়েছিল আলু ভর্তা ডাল আর করোলা ভাজি দিয়ে।

সকালবেলা মেয়েটা মাকে জিজ্ঞেস করল। মা ঘরে কি কিছুই ছিল না। তোমাদের জামাইয়ের জন্য কি কিছুই রান্না করতে পারোনি।
মা তেমন কোন উত্তর দিল না।
একটু পরেই ছোট জামাই ফোন দিল। সে শ্বশুর বাড়িতে বেড়াতে আসবে, এটা শুনে মা মহা খুশি।
বড় জামাইকে বাজারে পাঠিয়ে, কত বড় মাছ, গরুর মাংস এবং বিভিন্ন ধরনের বাজার করিয়া আনলেন।
বেশ ধুমধাম করেই রান্না করলেন। নিজের হাতে এবং বড় মেয়েকে বললেন, সে যেন ছোট মেয়ের ঘরটা সুন্দরভাবে গুছিয়ে রাখে।
বড় মেয়েটা মায়ের এমন আচরণ দেখে অনেকটা অবাক ই হলেন। কারণ যখন তার জামাইয়ের চাকরি ছিল। তখন তো মা কখনো এমন করেনি।
মেয়েটা অনেকটা কষ্ট পেল। মায়ের এমন আচরণ দেখে এবং ছোট বোনের ঘরটা সুন্দরভাবে সাজিয়ে নিজের ঘরে গিয়ে, অনেক কান্না করলো নিজে নিজে। কিন্তু তার স্বামীকে বুজতে দিল না।
কিন্তু তার স্বামী ও কম ছিল না। তিনি সবকিছুই বুঝতেন তার পরেও চুপ করে থাকতেন। কারণ তার হাতে তখন কোন টাকা পয়সা ছিল না, বা কোন চাকরিও ছিল না।
ছোট জামাই আসলো, ছোট মেয়ে আসলো মা বেশ আদর আপ্যায়ন করে ছোট জামাইকে খেতে দিলেন। কিন্তু বড় জামাইকে একটু ডাকলেন ও না। সবার খাওয়া শেষ হয়ে গেলে, বড় মেয়েটাকে ডেকে বললেন বড় জামাইকে খাবার দেয়ার জন্য।
মেয়েটা জামাইকে খাবার দিতে বসে অনেকটা অবাক হলেন। চোখের কোনে মনের অজান্তেই দুফোঁটা জল চলে আসলো। কারণ পাতিলের মধ্যে দেয়ার মত তেমন কোন কিছুই ছিল না। অল্প একটু ডাল আর মাংসের একটু ঝোল এটুকুই ছিল।
মেয়েটা তার মাকে আর কোন কিছুই বলল না। জামা কাপড় গুছিয়ে তার স্বামীর হাত ধরে, খাবার টেবিল থেকে উঠিয়ে নিয়ে, বাপের বাড়ি থেকে চলে গেলেন।
এরপর থেকে মেয়েটা আর তার বাবার বাড়িতে আসেননি। বর্তমানে মেয়েটা অনেক ভালো একটা অবস্থানে আছেন। কারণ মেয়েটার স্বামীর এরপরেই একটা সরকারি চাকরি হয়েছে। মেয়েটাও ভালো একটা চাকরি করছে এখন।
এই গল্পটা থেকে আমি কি শিখলাম
এই গল্পটা থেকে আমি শিখলাম। যার কাছে টাকা আছে তার মান সম্মান আছে শ্বশুরবাড়িতে। সে শ্বশুরবাড়িতে সবার কাছে প্রিয়, শাশুড়ির কাছে ভালো একজন জামাই। শশুরের কাছে ভালো একজন জামাই।
কখনো কাউকে ছোট করে দেখতে নেই। সে হয়তো বা বর্তমান সময়ে কিছুটা খারাপ অবস্থানে আছে। কিন্তু ভবিষ্যতে সে ভালো অবস্থানে যেতে হয়তো বা তার একটু সময় লাগবে। কিন্তু সে চেষ্টা করলে ঠিকই সেখানে যেতে পারবে।
টাকা দিয়ে কাউকে বিচার করা উচিত নয়। কারণ মানুষের মন মানসিকতা সব সময় এক রকম থাকে না। সেই ঘটনার পর থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত মেয়েটা তার মায়ের সাথে কথা বলেনি। এমন আচরণের কারণে তাদের মা মেয়ের সম্পর্ক নষ্ট হয়ে গেল।
আজ আর লিখছি না। হয়তোবা অনেক কিছুই লিখে ফেলেছি। সবাই ভালো থাকুন সুস্থ থাকুন। এই কামনা করে আজকের মত এখানেই বিদায় নিচ্ছি!
