ফুল ভালবাসার না এমন মানুষ মনে হয় না, আদৌও আছে। আমিও ফুল বেশ ভালোবাসি। আর তাইতো আজকে আমি আপনাদের সাথে আমার বাগানের কিছু গন্ধরাজ ফুলের ফটোগ্রাফি, এবং এর পরিচর্যা নিয়ে আলোচনা করার জন্য চলে এসেছি।

আমি যতটুকু জেনেছি গন্ধরাজ ফুলের স্থায়ী কোন নাম হয় না। তবে বৈজ্ঞানিকরা এই ফুলের নাম দিয়েছে।

আমরা সাধারণত এই ফুল টা দেখতে পাই গ্রীষ্মকালে। আর বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশে গ্রীষ্মকাল চলছে। তাই আমি আমার বাগানে গিয়ে অসম্ভব রকম ফুল গুলো দেখতে পেয়েছি।
গুগল থেকে সার্চ করে জানা গিয়েছে যে, এই গাছের জন্মস্থান চীনে হয়েছিল। এবং ঢাকার বিভিন্ন জায়গায়, বিভিন্ন পার্কে জাতীয় উদ্যানে, এই ফুল অবরোহর পাওয়া যায়।
আমাদের গ্রামের প্রায় প্রত্যেকটা বাড়িতেই এই গন্ধরাজ ফুল পাওয়া যায়। বিশেষ করে সবাই এই গন্ধরাজ ফুল গাছ রোপন করি। এই গাছ রোপন করা খুবই সহজ। শুধু এই গাছের একটা ঢাল কেটে মাটির মধ্যে পুঁতে দিলেই, এবং পর্যাপ্ত পরিমাণে রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ করলে অনায়াসে এই গাছ বেঁচে যায়।

এরপরে একটু আধটু পানি দেয়া, এবং ভালোভাবে পরিচর্যা করা। বেশি ঝাপটা হলে কিছু গাছের ডাল কেটে দেয়া। এভাবে যদি আপনি ধৈর্য ধরে দুই বছরে গাছের পরিচর্যা করতে পারেন। দুই বছর পরেই আপনি এই গাছ থেকে অফুরন্ত ফুল দেখতে পাবেন।
ঠিক তেমনি আমিও গত দু'বছর আগে আমার এক চাচাতো বোনের কাছ থেকে। এই গন্ধরাজ ফুলের একটা ঢাল নিয়ে এসেছিলাম।
প্রথমত আমি যখন ঢাল রোপন করেছিলাম। প্রচুর পরিমাণে বৃষ্টি থাকার কারণে ঢালের কিছুটা অংশ নষ্ট হয়ে গেছিল। আমি ভেবেছিলাম এই ঢাল বুঝি টিকবে না মরে গেছে।
কিন্তু আমার ধারণা একদমই ভুল ছিল। দিব্যি এই গাছ কিছুদিন পরে নিজের শাখা প্রশাখা চারপাশে ছড়িয়ে দিয়ে। নিজেকে আবার নতুন করে জাগিয়ে তুলেছিল।
এটা দেখার পর আমি যে কত খুশি হয়েছি। সেই খুশির বর্ণনা হয়তোবা আমি আপনাদেরকে দিতে পারব না।

আজকে মোটামুটি বেশ খানিকটা সময় বাগানে দিয়েছিলাম। কারণ বাগানের ফুল গাছগুলো কেমন যেন হয়ে গেছে। তাই ভাবলাম একটু পরিচর্যা করে পানি দেয়া দরকার।
ওখানে গিয়ে তো আমি পুরো অবাক হয়ে গেলাম। আমি দেখলাম আমার গন্ধরাজ ফুল গাছ একদম সাদা হয়ে আছে। পাতাগুলো সবুজ আর সাদা ফুল ফুটে আছে পুরো গাছে।
ফুলগুলো দেখার পর মনের মধ্যে একটা প্রশান্তি অনুভব করলাম। যাই হোক এতদিনের কষ্টের ফল আমি দেখতে পেয়েছি।

এই ফুলের গাছগুলো অনেক বড় হয়। আর এই ফুলের গাছের যে ঢাল রয়েছে সেটা অনেকটা শক্ত।
এ ফুল গাছটা যত বড় হয়। তত ঝোপ ঝাড় বিশিষ্ট হয়ে চারপাশ ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে যায়।
আজকে আমি অনেক খুশি। অনেকদিন পর আমার বাগানে গিয়ে আজকে আমার মনটা শান্ত হয়ে গেল। এই ফুলগুলো দেখার পর। তাই ভাবলাম আমার এই আনন্দের সময়টুকু আমি আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করি।
আজ আর লিখছি না। অনেক কথাই লিখে ফেললাম। সবাই ভালো থাকুন সুস্থ থাকুন। এটাই কামনা করছি।
There is no such thing as a person who does not love flowers , there are indeed some. I also love flowers quite a bit. And that is why today I have come to share with you some photographs of the Gandharaj flowers in my garden, and to discuss their care.

As far as I know, the Gandharaj flower does not have a permanent name. However, scientists have given this flower a name.
Gardenia jasminoides.
We usually see this flower in summer. And currently it is summer in Bangladesh. So I went to my garden and saw these incredible flowers.
A Google search revealed that this plant originated in China. And this flower can be found in various places in Dhaka, including various parks and national parks.
This Gandharaj flower is found in almost every house in our village. Especially, everyone plants this Gandharaj flower tree. Planting this tree is very easy. Just cut a branch of this tree and bury it in the ground, and with adequate maintenance, this tree can survive effortlessly.

Then give it a little water and take good care of it. If it is too dry, cut off some branches. If you can take care of the tree in this way for two years with patience, you will see endless flowers from this tree after two years.
Similarly, I too brought a bouquet of this Gandharaj flower from one of my cousins two years ago.
First, when I planted the shield, some of the shield had been damaged due to heavy rain. I thought this shield would not survive or it was dead.
But my assumption was completely wrong. After a few days, the tree spread its branches around and revived itself again.
I can't possibly describe to you how happy I was after seeing this.

I spent quite a bit of time in the garden today. Because the flowers and plants in the garden are looking a bit better. So I thought I needed to take care of them and water them.
When I got there, I was completely surprised. I saw that my Gandharaj flower tree had turned completely white. The leaves were green and the whole tree was covered in white flowers.
After seeing the flowers, I felt a sense of peace in my heart. Anyway, I saw the fruits of my long-term suffering.

These flowering plants grow very large, and the fronds of these flowering plants are quite strong.
As this flowering plant grows, it becomes bushy and spreads out all around.
Today I am very happy. After a long time, I went to my garden and my mind became calm today. After seeing these flowers. So I thought I would share this happy moment with you.
