Today I went to irrigate our light field

Hello Assalamualaikum you all are very well I am also very well by the grace of Allah Alhamdulillah. Today I am back with my photography post. Hope you all like it.

হ্যালো আসসালামুয়ালাইকুম আপনারা সবাই খুব ভালো আছেন আমিও আল্লাহর রহমতে অনেক ভালো আছি আলহামদুলিল্লাহ। আজ আমি আমার ফটোগ্রাফি পোস্ট নিয়ে ফিরে এসেছি। আশা করি আপনাদের সবার ভালো লাগবে।

After eating and drinking in the afternoon, I and my uncle went to our potato field. We planted potatoes in our land 10 days ago. And from that potato seedling the potato plant grew small. So now we have to irrigate the potato field. So we finished our lunch and I and my uncle irrigated our potato field. After eating and drinking, we brought the pipe from the house to the land to the potato field. Because there is no irrigation pump or water source here, we have to finish this potato field with submersible pump from home. Then we spread the pie from the house to the land.

দুপুর বেলা খাওয়া-দাওয়া শেষ করে আমি আর আমার চাচা মিলে চলে গেলাম আমাদের আলুর ক্ষেতে।আমরা বিগত ১০ দিন আগে আমাদের এই জমিতে আলু রোপণ করেছি। এবং সেই আলু গাছের চারা থেকে আলু গাছ ছোট ছোট জন্ম নিয়েছে। তাই এখন আমাদের আলুর জমিতে পানি সেচ দিতে হবে। তাই আমরা দুপুরের খাওয়া দাওয়া শেষ করে আমি আর আমার চাচা মিলে আমাদের আলুর জমিতে পানি সেচ দিলাম। আমরা খাওয়া দাওয়া শেষ করে বাসা থেকে জমি পর্যন্ত পাইপ দিয়ে আলুর জমিতে নিয়ে এসেছি। কারণ এখানে কোন সেচ পাম্প নেই কিংবা কোন পানির উৎস নেই তাই বাড়ি থেকে সাবমারসিবল পাম্প দিয়ে আমাদেরকে এই আলুর জমি শেষ দিতে হবে। তারপর আমরা বাসা থেকে জমি পর্যন্ত পাই বিছিয়ে নিলাম।

Then we turned on the submersible pump at home. After making the call, the water is slowly coming to our land through the pipe. Then we slowly started irrigating our potato field. It took a long time to let us finish the water because the submersible pump is not very good and works very slowly. Here we have planted potatoes together in about 5 bigha of land. So it is getting a little late to give water to all the lands so it took us some time. It takes about an hour to irrigate one bigha of land. So it took about five hours to irrigate this entire potato field. Courage (Bari27) potato seeds have been planted in this land. And three bighas of land have been cultivated with Diamond (Bari7) potatoes. These two potatoes have a lot of yield so we have planted these potatoes in this five bigha land. All the things we grow we observe very carefully and take good care of them. Many insects and bacteria attack the potatoes at different times and we have to take care of them all the time so we have someone from our house come here and inspect the fields every day. Currently I am staying at home because my college has winter break so now I am busy with housework full time. And these I take care of because father and uncle cannot be there all the time, they are out on different jobs so I stay at home so I take care of them. And I tell them the problems I see and they try to solve them. I also help them by working hand in hand with them.

তারপর আমরা বাড়িতে সাবমারসিবল পাম্প অন করে দিলাম।ফোন করে দেওয়ার পর সেখান থেকে পানি ধীরে ধীরে আমাদের জমিতে পাইপের মাধ্যমে চলে আসতেছে। তারপর আমরা ধীরে ধীরে আমাদের আলুর জমিতে পানি দিয়ে এসেছি দেওয়া শুরু করলাম। আমাদের পানি শেষ দিতে দিতে অনেক সময় লেগেছিল কারণ সাবমারসিবল পাম্প দিয়ে তেমন ভালো পানি আসে না এবং অনেক ধীরে ধীরে কাজ হয়। এখানে আমাদের একসঙ্গে প্রায় ৫ বিঘা জমিতে আলু রোপন করা হয়েছে। তাই সব জমিতে পানি দিতে একটু দেরি হয়ে যাচ্ছে তাই একটু সময় লাগতেছে আমাদের। এক বিঘা পুরো জমিতে পানি সেচ দিতে প্রায় এক ঘন্টার মত সময় লাগে। তাই পাঁচ ঘণ্টার মতো সময় লাগলো এই পুরো আলুর জমিতে পানি সেঁচে দিতে। আমাদের এই জমিতে কারেজ (বারি২৭) আলুর বীজ রোপন করা হয়েছে। আর আরো তিন বিঘা জমিতে ডায়মন্ড (বারি৭) আলু চাষ করা হয়েছে। এই দুই আলুতে অনেক ফলন পাওয়া যায় তাই আমরা এই পাঁচ বিঘা জমিতে এই আলুগুলো রোপন করেছি। আমরা যে সকল জিনিসই চাষ করি সেগুলো অনেক সুন্দরভাবে পর্যবেক্ষণ করি এবং তাদের ভালোভাবে দেখাশোনা করি। বিভিন্ন সময় আলুতে অনেক পোকামাকড় আক্রমণ এবং ব্যাকটেরিয়া আক্রমণ করে এগুলো আমাদেরকে সব সময় খেয়াল রাখতে হয় তাই আমরা প্রতিদিন আমাদের বাড়ির কেউ এখানে এসে জমিগুলো পরিদর্শন করে যান। বর্তমানে আমি বাড়িতে থাকি কারন আমার কলেজের শীতকালীন ছুটি দিয়েছে তাই এখন আমি পুরো সময় বাড়ির কাজে ব্যস্ত থাকি। এবং এগুলো আমি দেখাশোনা করি কারণ বাবা এবং চাচা সবসময়ই তারা থাকতে পারেন না তারা বিভিন্ন কাজে বাইরে থাকেন তো আমি বাড়িতে থাকি তাই আমি এগুলো দেখাশোনা করি। এবং আমি যেগুলো সমস্যা দেখতে পাই সেগুলো আমি তাদেরকে গিয়ে বলি এবং তারা সেগুলো সমাধান করার চেষ্টা করেন। আমিও তাদের সাথে হাতে হাতে কাজ করে তাদেরকে সাহায্য করি।

In this picture you can see how we brought the pipe from the house to the land. We are irrigating this land with submersible pump from home with this life pipe. I like doing agricultural work very much. Now in winter there are no animals in the land so we grow potatoes in the land and mustard onion garlic cauliflower cabbage brinjal chillies we grow in the land. During this time there is no water in the land so we cultivate them. When the land is made we have no choice but to cultivate only paddy but when winter falls from November to about March we can cultivate these crops in these lands. And the rest of the time from April to August we can cultivate nothing but paddy in these lands. Because then there is water in the land so we can't cultivate them anymore. So our winters are actually a little more farming and we benefit a lot economically. So we don't leave any land vacant during this time and we cultivate something in those lands. All the people of our village are working like this and they are also benefiting financially. Nothing seems difficult when we work together. So we all work together in our village, it is very nice to work together.

এই ছবিতে আপনারা দেখতে পাচ্ছেন এখানে আমরাও বাড়ি থেকে কিভাবে পাইপ নিয়ে এসেছি জমিতে। এই জীবন পাইপ দিয়েই বাড়ি থেকে সাবমারসিবল পাম্প দিয়ে আমরা এই জমিতে পানি সেচ দিতেছি। আমার কৃষি কাজ করতে অনেক ভালো লাগে। এখন শীতকাল এই সময় জমিতে কোন প্রাণী থাকে না তাই আমরা এগুলো জমিতে আলু চাষ করে থাকি এবং সরিষা পেঁয়াজ রসুন ফুলকপি বাঁধাকপি বেগুন ঢেরস মরিচ এগুলো আমরা জমিতে চাষ করি। এই সময় জমিতে পানি থাকে না তাই আমরা এগুলো চাষ করে থাকি যখন জমিতে বানিয়ে থাকে তখন শুধু ধান চাষ করা ছাড়া আমাদের কোন উপায় থাকে না কিন্তু যখন শীতকাল পড়ে নভেম্বর থেকে প্রায় মার্চ মাস পর্যন্ত আমরা এইগুলো জমিতে এগুলো ফসল চাষ করতে পারি। আর বাকি সময় এপ্রিল থেকে অগাস্ট মাস পর্যন্ত আমরা এগুলো জমিতে শুধু ধান ছাড়া কিছুই চাষ করতে পারি না। কারণ তখন জমিতে পানি থাকে তাই আমাদের এগুলো চাষ করা আর হয়ে ওঠে না। তো আমাদের শীতকাল আসলে একটু বেশি চাষবাস করা হয় এতে আমাদের অনেক অর্থনৈতিকভাবে উন্নতি লাভ করি। তাই আমরা এই সময় কোন জমি ফাঁকা রাখি না এবং সেগুলো জমিতে আমরা কিছু না কিছু চাষ করে থাকি। আমাদের গ্রামের লোকেরা সবাই আমাদের দেখাদেখি এভাবেই কাজ করে থাকেন এতে তারাও অনেক আর্থিক ভাবে লাভবান হন। একসঙ্গে কাজ করলে কোন কিছুই কঠিন মনে হয় না। তাই আমরা আমাদের গ্রামের সবাই একসঙ্গেই কাজ করে থাকি, এতে অনেক ভালো লাগে সবাই মিলে কাজ করতে।

Then in this picture you can see that my uncle is irrigating the potato field here. There is a rule of irrigation that I don't know well so my uncle is irrigating well here. Because if more water is given in the potato field then the seedlings of the potato plant will rot, for this reason the amount of water must be irrigated otherwise the plants will die. That's why my uncle is irrigating this land. Then I took a picture of him and my grandfather was standing on the law watching the water draining and he was explaining well where the water was getting more and where it was getting less. Because my grandfather has more experience and my uncle has less experience because he has achieved so much by cultivating them. So his experience is much more than ours.

তারপর এই ছবিতে আপনারা দেখতে পাচ্ছেন আমার চাচা এখানে আলুর জমিতে পানি সেচ দিতেছেন।পানি সেচ দেওয়ারও একটি নিয়ম রয়েছে সেটা আমার ভালোমতে জানা নেই তাই আমার চাচা এখানে ভালোভাবে পানি শেষ দিচ্ছেন। কারণ আলুর জমিতে যদি পানি বেশি সেচ দেওয়া হয় তাহলে আলুর গাছের চারা গুলো পচে যায় এই জন্য পরিমাণ মতো পানি সেচ দিতে হয় তা না হলে গাছগুলো মারা যাবে। এজন্যই আমার চাচা এই জমিতে পরিমাণ মতো পানি সেচ দিতাছেন। তখন আমি তার একটি ছবি তুললাম এবং আইনের উপর আমার দাদার দাড়িয়ে থেকে পানি শেষ দেওয়া দেখতেছেন এবং কোথায় পানি বেশি হচ্ছে কোথায় কম হচ্ছে এগুলো তিনি ভালোভাবে বুঝিয়ে দিচ্ছেন। কারন আমার দাদার অভিজ্ঞতা অনেক বেশি এবং আমার চাচার অভিজ্ঞতা অনেক কম কারণ তিনি এগুলো চাষাবাদ করেই এত কিছু অর্জন করেছেন। তাই তার অভিজ্ঞতা আমাদের থেকে অনেক বেশি।

Then there is when my uncle is almost done with watering and there is little left. Then I take a selfie. Then I turned off the submersible at Selfie House. I took off and arranged the bikes. It was almost evening to collect the pipes.

তারপর সেখানেই আমার চাচা যখন পানি সেচ দেওয়ার কাজ প্রায় শেষ আর একটু বাকি রয়েছে।তখন আমি একটি সেলফি তুলাম। তারপর সেলফি বাড়িতে সাবমারসিবল অফ করলাম। অফ করে বাইক গুলো গুছিয়ে নিলাম। পাইপগুলো গুছিয়ে নিতে নিতে প্রায় সন্ধ্যা হয়ে এসেছিল।

I turned off the pump and started cleaning the pipes from the house. While packing this pipe I saw the sun setting. So I photographed the sunset in the evening. After taking the photography I shared them with you. Then I packed the pipes and came home. Thus our work is finished today. Hope you all like my post. আমি পাম্প অফ করে বাড়ি থেকে পাইপ গুছানো শুরু করলাম। এই পাইপ গোছাতে গোছাতে আমি দেখলাম সূর্য অস্ত যাচ্ছে। তাই আমি সন্ধ্যা বেলায় সূর্যঅস্ত যাওয়ার ফটোগ্রাফি করলাম। ফটোগ্রাফি করার পর আমি সেগুলো আপনাদের সাথে শেয়ার করলাম। তারপর আমি পাইপগুলো গুছিয়ে নিয়ে বাড়িতে চলে আসলাম। এভাবে আজকে আমাদের কাজ শেষ হলো। আশা করি আমার পোস্ট আপনাদের সবার অনেক ভালো লাগবে। আজ এই পর্যন্তই সবাই ভালো থাকবেন সুস্থ থাকবেন নিজের খেয়াল রাখবেন এবং পরিবারের খেয়াল রাখবেন।
