সাইকেল। স্বর্ন যুগের সাধারণ বাহন। সে সময় দেখা যায়নি, রিকশা, ভ্যান, অটো, সিএনজি এবং ইলেকট্রিক কোন যানবাহন। মালামাল সাধারণ ভাবে আনা নেওয়ার জন্য ঠেলাগাড়ি ছিল একমাত্র উপায়। বরযাত্রী আনা নেওয়ার জন্য ব্যবহার করা হতো পালকি। তবে পেট্রোল ও ডিজেল চালিত সামান্য কিছু যানবাহন শহর এলাকায় দেখা যেত।তার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য, সার্ভিস বাস, ট্রাক, মালামাল পরিবহনে ইঞ্জিন চালিত ভ্যান, মোটরসাইকেল এবং ভ্যাপসা নামক মোটরসাইকেল। জলপথে মালামাল পরিবহন ও চলাফেরার জন্য, নৌকা,পাল তোলা নৌকা এবং দাঁড় টানা নৌকা ইত্যাদি ইত্যাদি।
পঙ্খিরাজ নামে , সাইকেল ছিল সকল কার্যের মধ্যমনি। যাহা কালের গহ্বরে আস্তে আস্তে আজ হারিয়ে যেতে চলেছে।
