Welcome back! After a very busy week, making posts about the great time I had at Anarchapulco, in this one I'd like to showcase some of my favorite sketchbook paintings I made these a little while ago. Some of them are watercolor sketches and some ballpoint pen. I think they turned out pretty good and deserve to be seen!
I made the artwork above during a power outage and I really felt like painting something. Usually, I take some reference from an object I see, or from a picture on the internet. This was the first painting I've ever made just by looking into a mini-mirror and did my eye, it seems to have turned out pretty cool. What do think?
This one is inspired by a nice picture I found on Pinterest, I'm happy to have reached that goal in getting the lady-like-ness in the piece. 😁
I don't play the piano, but I always like listening to someone else who can play it well. This is a watercolor & gouache sketch and it took me about an hour.
In the last drawing, let's transition into a ballpoint pen portrait!
If you're interested or laughing at the flat earth topic at all, you've probably heard of Flat Earth Dave, who was an interesting speaker at the Anarchapulco event this year. He has a photo of himself that he uses everywhere, so I decided to draw it and give to him as a gift & for fun.
Also, I made this drawing two years ago, so you can't criticize me too hard in the comments for it haha! 😉
Thank you for reading my post, I hope you enjoyed it and enjoy the rest of your day!

Hi, all the paintings are very good, but the ones I liked the most were the first and the second. Those two are really great, the details are very well done.
