Presenting the traditional game of village Bengal among the new generation

I hope you all are well and I am also well. Today I am back with another new post. Today I present to you a traditional game of village Bengal which we organized a few days ago in one of our picnics. Actually I organized this picnic with my private students. They wanted me to organize a picnic with them for a long time. But due to lack of time I could not organize the picnic so it was too late. However, when I organized this picnic with the students, they were personally very happy and very much interested in my picnic. The day I told them that we will have this picnic on this date they were very happy and the fundraising started. I was very happy to see this interest in their picnic and I did not take any responsibility in this picnic. They raised the money handsomely of their own accord and made all the necessary arrangements for the picnic. Only helped them to complete this arrangement.

In our picnic we kept many kinds of activities among which the most interesting activities were the games. We organized several types of games in this picnic, it is not possible to share all the games with you today, so I will share only one game with you today. Those who know this game well know how fun and entertaining it is. In our village language this game is called Haribhanga game. Maybe the name of this game may be different but you all know very well how fun it is. We really had a lot of fun with this game on this picnic day. From eating and drinking to other events, this game was the most interesting event that we had in this picnic. I have noticed that besides the happiness of the picnic, the students are much happier playing this game.

We tried to give the students an idea about this game first and when the students understood about this game well, they got involved with this game well. I honestly can't tell you how much fun I had watching them play. To make this game more interesting we have arranged some prizes so that students get more interest about this game. Who doesn't like to win prizes so the students were more enthusiastic to participate in this game. Since it is a matter of who will come first and who will come next, we have arranged a lottery where the serials will be written as to who will participate next. After receiving this answer I noticed a different feeling developed among them because they all knew in advance who would be able to participate then and who would be able to participate in the game when. If this is not a very good topic, there is a rush to see who will ever participate.

It is a very enjoyable and fun game as those who have played it know that it is fun. Students wanted me to participate in this game but since I organized this game, I did not participate in this game. I was just having fun watching them play and they were having fun watching others play. In fact, it is very fun to watch such a game, today I shared only photography with you, it would have been better if I could share videography.

My younger brother and one of our teachers helped me tremendously to organize the game and with their help I was able to do it very well. If they had not helped me in this way, maybe I would not have been able to organize this game in such a beautiful way. All in all the game was completed very nicely and we gave prizes to the winners at the end. All in all, when this traditional game of village Bengal was getting lost, we tried to bring it back again. And to bring back the old game to the new generation, I personally like it a lot. Do let me know in the comments how you feel about bringing the old game back to the new generation. আশা করি আপনারা সবাই ভাল আছেন আমিও ভাল আছি আজকে আমি আপনাদের মাঝে পুনরায় আরও একটা নতুন পোস্ট নিয়ে হাজির হয়ে গেলাম। আজকে আমি আপনাদের মাঝে গ্রাম বাংলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী একটা খেলা নিয়ে হাজির হয়েছে যেটা আমরা কিছুদিন আগে আমাদের একটা পিকনিকে আয়োজন করেছিলাম। আসলে আমি এই পিকনিকের আয়োজন করেছিলাম আমার প্রাইভেটে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের নিয়ে। তারা অনেক দিন থেকেই চাচ্ছিল যে তাদেরকে নিয়ে আমি একটা পিকনিকের আয়োজন করি। কিন্তু সময় স্বল্পতার কারণে পিকনিকের আয়োজন করতে পারছিলাম না বলে অনেক দেরি হয়ে গেল। তারপরও যখন আমি ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের নিয়ে এই পিকটার আয়োজন করেছে তারা ব্যক্তিগতভাবে অনেক খুশি হয়েছে এবং আমার এই পিকনিকের জন্য তারা অনেক বেশি আগ্রহী ছিল। যেদিনই আমি তাদেরকে বলে দিয়েছিলাম যে এই তারিখে আমাদের এই পিকনিক অনুষ্ঠিত হবে সেই দিনই তারা অত্যন্ত খুশি হয়েছিল এবং টাকা উত্তোলনের কাজ শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছিল। তাদের পিকনিকের প্রতি এই আগ্রহের বিষয়টা দেখে আমি অত্যন্ত খুশি হয়েছিলাম এবং আমি এ পিকনিকের ক্ষেত্রে তেমন কোন দায়িত্ব পালন করিনি। তারা নিজেদের ইচ্ছাতেই সুন্দর ভাবে টাকা উত্তোলন করেছে এবং পিকনিকের জন্য যত আয়োজন করা দরকার সবগুলোই তারা করেছে। শুধুমাত্র তাদেরকে সাহায্য করেছি এই আয়োজনটার ভালো হবে সম্পূর্ণ করার জন্য।

আমাদের পিকনিকে আমরা অনেক ধরনের আয়োজন রেখে দিয়েছিলাম তার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে একে আকর্ষণীয় আয়োজন ছিল হচ্ছে খেলা। আমরা বেশ কয়েক ধরনের খেলা এই পিকনিকে আয়োজন করেছিলাম সবগুলো খেলা আপনাদের মাঝে আজকে একবারে শেয়ার করা সম্ভব হচ্ছে না তাই একটিমাত্র খেলার কথাই আপনাদের মাঝে আজকে শেয়ার করব। যারা এই খেলাটি সম্পর্কে ভালোভাবে জানেন তারা জানেন যে এটা কতটা আনন্দদায়ক এবং মজাদার একটা খেলা। আমাদের গ্রামের ভাষাতে এই খেলাটাকে হাড়িভাঙ্গা খেলা বলা হয়ে থাকে। হয়তোবা এই খেলাটির নাম ভিন্ন হতে পারে কিন্তু এটা কতটা মজার খেলা সেটা হয়তোবা আপনারা সকলেই খুব ভালোভাবে জানেন। পিকনিকের এই দিনে আমরা এই খেলাটা নিয়ে আসলেই অনেক বেশি মজা করেছিলাম। খাওয়া-দাওয়া থেকে শুরু করে অন্যান্য যত আয়োজন আমাদের এই পিকনিকে ছিল তার মধ্যে সবথেকে আকর্ষণীয় আয়োজন ছিল এই খেলা। আমি লক্ষ্য করে দেখেছি পিকনিকের খুশির পাশাপাশি এই খেলা খেলতে যেয়ে ছাত্রছাত্রীরা অনেক বেশি খুশি হয়েছে।

ছাত্রছাত্রীদেরকে এই খেলাটি সম্পর্কে প্রথমে আমরা ধারণা দিতে চেষ্টা করেছিলাম আর যখনই ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই খেলা সম্পর্কে ভালোভাবে বুঝে গেল তখন তারা এই খেলাটার সাথে যেন যুক্ত হয়ে গেল ভালোভাবেই। সত্য কথা বলতে তাদের এই খেলা দেখে আমি যে কতটা বেশি পরিমাণে মজা পেয়েছি তা আপনাদের কেউ বলে বোঝাতে পারবো না। এই খেলাটি আরো আকর্ষণীয় করার জন্য আমরা কিছু প্রাইজের ব্যবস্থা করেছিলাম যেন ছাত্রছাত্রীরা এই খেলাটি সম্পর্কে আরও বেশি পরিমাণে আগ্রহ পাই। প্রাইস পেতে কার না ভালো লাগে তাই তো ছাত্রছাত্রীরা আরো বেশি উৎসাহী হয়েছিল এই খেলাটিতে অংশগ্রহণ করার জন্য। যেহেতু কে আগে কে পরে এমন একটা বিষয় চলে আসবে তাই আমরা একটা লটারির ব্যবস্থা করেছিলাম যেখানে সিরিয়াল লেখা থাকবে কার পরে কে অংশগ্রহণ করবে। এই উত্তরটি গ্রহণ করার পরে আমি লক্ষ্য করে দেখেছি তাদের মাঝে অন্য ধরনের একটা অনুভূতি তৈরি হয়েছে কারণ তারা সকলেই আগে থেকে জানতে পেরেছিল যে তারপরে কে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবে এবং খেলাতে কে কখন অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবে। এই বিষয়টা খুবই ভালো একটা বিষয় না হলে দেখা যায় যে তাড়াহুড়া লেগে যায় কে কখনো অংশগ্রহণ করবে সেটাকে নিয়ে।

এটা খুবই আনন্দদায়ক এবং মজার একটা খেলা যারা এটা খেলেছেন তারা জানেন যে এটা মজার। ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের চাইছিল আমিও এই খেলাতে অংশগ্রহণ করি কিন্তু আমি যেহেতু এই খেলাটার আয়োজন করেছি তাই আমি এই খেলাতে অংশগ্রহণ করলাম না। আমি শুধু তাদের খেলা দেখে মজা পাচ্ছিলাম এবং তারাও অন্যরা অন্যদের খেলা দেখে মজা পাচ্ছিল। আসলে এমন খেলা দেখতে পারলে খুবই মজা লাগে আমি তো আজকে আপনাদের মাঝে শুধুমাত্র ফটোগ্রাফি শেয়ার করলাম ভিডিওগ্রাফি শেয়ার করতে পারলে আরো বেশি ভালো লাগতো।

খেলা আয়োজন করার জন্য আমার একটা ছোট ভাই এবং আমাদের একজন শিক্ষক আমাকে খুবই দারুণভাবে সাহায্য করেছিল আর তাদের সেই সাহায্য নিয়েই আমি এটা খুবই ভালোভাবে করতে পেরেছি। তারা যদি আমাকে এভাবে সাহায্য না করতো তাহলে হয়তো বা আমি এতটা সুন্দর ভাবে এই খেলাটার আয়োজন করতে পারতাম না। সব মিলে খেলাটা সম্পূর্ণ হয়েছে খুবই সুন্দরভাবে আর বিজয়ীদের মাঝে আমরা শেষের দিকে প্রাইজ দিয়েছি। সব মিলিয়ে গ্রাম বাংলার এই ঐতিহ্যবাহী খেলা যখন হারিয়ে যাচ্ছিল ঠিক সেই মুহূর্তে আমরা চেষ্টা করেছি সেই খেলাটাকে আবারও ফিরিয়ে আনতে। আর নতুন প্রজন্মের মাঝে পুরনো দিনের সেই খেলাটা ফিরিয়ে আনতে পেরে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে আমার কাছে অনেক বেশি ভালো লেগেছে। নতুন প্রজন্মের কাছে পুরনো দিনের সেই খেলাটা ফিরিয়ে আনার এই বিষয়টা আপনাদের কাছে কেমন লেগেছে সেটা অবশ্যই আমাকে কমেন্ট করে জানাবেন। আজকের মত এ পর্যন্তই পরবর্তী সময়ে আপনাদের মাঝে হাজির হবো নতুন কোন একটা পোস্ট এর মধ্য দিয়ে।
