Going to the nursery to buy trees with love

It is hard to find a person who does not love trees. Every person has a unique love for trees and that's why every person tries to make their environment beautiful by planting beautiful trees. Personally I like trees very much so I visit nurseries from time to time and buy many plants from there and start planting them. A few days ago today, I took your brother and Suman sir to the nursery to buy trees. I was quite impressed when I went to buy the plants because the nursery had a large collection of plants. Before this I never went to the nursery to buy trees every time your brother used to buy trees for our house but I went along with the service. It felt good to see such a beautiful environment after going along. It seemed to me again and again that if I could create a nursery like this in my home, it would be great for me. Actually I am a tree-loving person so I have a lot of love for trees. It seems to me that every human being likes a lot of trees and will not like trees because of these trees we live.

গাছ ভালবাসে না এমন মানুষ হয়তো খুঁজে পাওয়া যায় না। প্রতিটা মানুষের গাছের প্রতি ভালোবাসা রয়েছে অনন্য আর সেই জন্যই প্রত্যেকটা মানুষ চেষ্টা করে প্রতিনিয়ত সুন্দর সুন্দর গাছ লাগিয়ে নিজেদের পরিবেশ কত সুন্দর করে তুলতে। ব্যক্তিগতভাবে গাছ আমার কাছে অনেক ভালো লাগে তাইতো আমি বিভিন্ন সময়ে নার্সারিতে যাই এবং সেখান থেকে অনেক গাছ কিনে এনে লাগাতে শুরু করি। আজ থেকে বেশ কয়েকদিন আগে আমি আপনাদের ভাইয়া এবং সুমন স্যারকে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলাম নার্সারিতে গাছ কেনার জন্য। গাছ কিনতে যেয়ে আমি তো রীতিমতো মুগ্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছিলাম কেননা সেই নার্সারিতে প্রচুর পরিমাণে গাছের সংগ্রহ ছিল। এর আগে আমি কোন সময় নার্সারিতে গাছ কেনার জন্য গিয়েছিলাম না প্রত্যেক সময় আপনাদের ভাইয়া আমাদের বাড়ির জন্য গাছ কিনে আনতো কিন্তু সেবার আমি সাথে গিয়েছিলাম। সাথে যাবার পরেই এমন সুন্দর পরিবেশ দেখতে পেয়ে নিজের কাছেই ভালো লাগছিল। আমার কাছে বারবার যেন মনে হচ্ছিল এই রকমের সৌন্দর যদি একটা নার্সারি আমার বাড়িতেও আমি তৈরি করতে পারতাম তাহলে আমার কাছে খুবই ভালো লাগলো। আসলে আমি একজন গাছ-প্রেমী মানুষ তাই গাছের প্রতি আমার খুবই ভালোবাসা রয়েছে। আমার কাছে মনে হয় প্রত্যেকটা মানুষই গাছকে প্রচুর পরিমাণে পছন্দ করে আর গাছকে পছন্দ করবে না কেন এই গাছের জন্যই তো আমরা বেঁচে আছি।

We all know how important a role trees play in sustaining our lives. Oxygen loss is important for the survival of all animals, including humans, and the main source of oxygen that we use is the tree. We constantly get oxygen from plants and we live because of that oxygen. If you think a little deeply, you can see that this tree plays the most important and major role in sustaining the life of humans or other animals. That's why we all should love trees and plant lots of trees along with loving trees. The more trees we can plant, the more oxygen we will have in our environment. And whenever the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere increases, then our life will become much easier. And for that every person should plant at least two trees. About 18 crore people live in our country, if every person plants two trees, thirty six crore trees will be planted in our country. And if we continue to do this every year then one day we will see our whole Bangladesh will rise in the morning.
আমরা সকলেই জানি যে গাছ আমাদের জীবন ধারণ করার জন্য কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। মানুষসহ সকল প্রাণীর জীবনধারণ করার জন্য অক্সিজেন ক্ষতি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটা বিষয় আর সেই অক্সিজেনের প্রধান উৎস হিসাবে যে জিনিসটা কে কাজে লাগায় আমরা সেটা হচ্ছে গাছ। আমরা গাছ থেকে প্রতিনিয়ত অক্সিজেন গ্রহণ করি আর সেই অক্সিজেনের ফলেই আমরা বেঁচে থাকি। আপনারা যদি একটু গভীরভাবে চিন্তা করে দেখেন তাহলে দেখতে পারবেন যে মানুষের বা অন্যান্য প্রাণীর জীবন ধারণ করার জন্য সবথেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এবং বড় ভূমিকা পালন করে এই গাছ। এজন্য আমাদের সকলকে গাছের প্রতি ভালবাসা উচিৎ এবং গাছের ভালবাসার সাথে সাথে প্রচুর পরিমাণে গাছ লাগানো উচিত। আমরা যতটা বেশি পরিমাণে গাছ লাগাতে পারব আমাদের পরিবেশে অক্সিজেনের পরিমাণ ততটাই বৃদ্ধি পাবে। আর যখনই পরিবেশে অক্সিজেনের পরিমাণ বৃদ্ধি পাবে তখনই আমাদের জীবন ধারণ করাটা অনেক সহজ হয়ে যাবে। আর এজন্য প্রত্যেকটা মানুষকে অন্তত দুইটি করে গাছ লাগানো উচিত। আমাদের দেশে প্রায় 18 কোটি মানুষ বসবাস করে যদি প্রত্যেকটা মানুষ দুইটি করে গাছ লাগায় তাহলেও ছত্রিশ কোটি গাছ লাগানো হয়ে যাবে আমাদের দেশের। আর যদি আমরা প্রত্যেক বছর এমনটাই করতে থাকি তাহলে একদিন দেখতে পাব আমাদের এই পুরো বাংলাদেশ সবুজে ভোরে উঠবে।

But the sad fact is that we have become more focused on cutting trees instead of planting them. If we look at the present time, we will see that people are constantly cutting down trees for daily necessities and they have forgotten that if they cut down one tree, they have to plant two trees. If I want to say in one word, then I can say that people are cutting trees for their needs and they are not meeting the shortage of trees that is noticed due to the cutting of trees for their needs. And for this reason, the amount of carbon dioxide in our air is increasing and whenever the amount of carbon dioxide increases, the climate changes. We used to notice how the temperature was bearable at one time but now the temperature in our country has gone to such a bad level that even sustaining life has become very difficult. We are most responsible for this change in climate. If we didn't cut trees like this constantly and if we planted trees constantly, then the climate would not change like this. We now notice that there is a lot of heat in the morning and a lot of cold in the winter. The biggest reason for this is climate change. If we all have to bring our livelihoods back to bearable levels then we have to stop this climate change and the most important thing we can do to stop climate change is to plant lots of trees. If we all start planting trees together in large numbers, we will be able to stop this climate change and make our environment livable again.

কিন্তু দুঃখের বিষয় হলেও সত্য যে আমরা গাছ লাগানোর পরিবর্তে গাছ কাটার ক্ষেত্রে সব থেকে বেশি মনোযোগী হয়ে গিয়েছে। বর্তমান সময়ের দিকে যদি আমরা একটু লক্ষ্য করে দেখি তাহলে দেখতে পাবো মানুষ প্রতিনিয়ত নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় কাজের জন্য গাছ কেটে ফেলছে আর একটা গাছ কেটে ফেললে যে দুইটা গাছ লাগাতে হয় সেটা তারা ভুলে গিয়েছে। এক কথায় যদি আমি বলতে চাই তাহলে বলতে পারি এমনটা যে মানুষ এখন তাদের প্রয়োজনে গাছ কাটছে আর তাদের প্রয়োজনের গাছ কাটার ফলে গাছের যে ঘাটতি লক্ষ্য করা যাচ্ছে সেটা তারা কোনোভাবেই পূরণ করছে না। আর এই কারণেই তো আমাদের বাতাসে কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইডের পরিমাণ বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে আর যখনই কার্বন ডাই-অক্সাইডের পরিমাণ বৃদ্ধি পাবে তখনই জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন হয়ে যাচ্ছে। আমরা একটা সময় লক্ষ্য করে দেখতাম যে তাপমাত্রা কতটা সহনশীল পর্যায়ে ছিল কিন্তু এখন আমাদের দেশে তাপমাত্রা এতটাই খারাপ পর্যায়ে চলে গিয়েছে যেখানে জীবন ধারণ করাটাও হয়ে গিয়েছে অনেকটা কষ্টের। জলবায়ুর এই পরিবর্তন হবার জন্য আমরা সব থেকে বড় দায়ী। যদি প্রতিনিয়ত এভাবে গাছ না কাটতাম এবং প্রতিনিয়ত যদি গাছ লাগাতাম তাহলে জলবায়ু এভাবে পরিবর্তন হতো না।আমরা এখন লক্ষ্য করি যে দুই সকালে প্রচুর পরিমাণে গরম পড়তে থাকে আর শীতকালে প্রচুর পরিমাণে শীত পড়তে থাকে এর সব থেকে বড় কারণ হচ্ছে জলবায়ুর পরিবর্তন। আমাদের সকলের জীবন ধারন যদি আবারও সহনশীল পর্যায়ে নিয়ে আসতে হয় তাহলে এই জলবায়ুর পরিবর্তন ঠেকাতে হবে আর জলবায়ুর পরিবর্তন ঠেকানোর জন্য সবথেকে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজটি হচ্ছে প্রচুর পরিমাণে গাছ লাগানো। আমরা যদি প্রচুর পরিমাণে সকলে একত্রিতভাবে গাছ লাগাতে শুরু করি তাহলে জলবায়ুর এই পরিবর্তন ঠেকানো সম্ভব হবে এবং আমাদের পরিবেশটা আবারও বসবাস উপযোগী হয়ে যাবে।

Now let's talk about my visit to the nursery. After visiting the nursery that day I saw many types of flowering plants and fruit trees. Since I saw many trees there at the same time, a different kind of pleasure was working in my mind and at the same time I fell into a dilemma of which tree to keep and which tree to buy. The flowers I saw there were really beautiful, so I felt like buying one of each flower plant and planting it at home. But my house doesn't have enough space to plant trees so I couldn't make it possible to buy all the trees. If I had enough space to plant trees in my house, I would definitely buy a lot of trees and bring them to my house. I couldn't do this only because of lack of space but those who have a lot of space in their house can buy beautiful plants from nurseries and make the environment beautiful if they want. At the same time, they can increase the amount of oxygen in the environment just as they can beautify the home environment. And we all need to take this culture seriously.

এবার আসা যাক আমার নার্সারি ভ্রমণের বিষয়ে আমি সেদিন নার্সারিতে যাবার পরে অনেক ধরনের ফুলের গাছ এবং ফলের গাছ দেখতে পেয়েছি। যেহেতু সেখানে একই সাথে আমি অনেকগুলো গাছ দেখতে পেয়েছি তাই নিজের মনের মাঝে অন্য রকমের ভালো লাগা কাজ করছিল আর একই সাথে আমি দ্বিধাদ্বন্দ্বের মধ্যে পড়ে গিয়েছিলাম কোন গাছ রেখে কোন গাছ কিনব। সেখানে আমি যে ফুল গাছগুলো দেখেছিলাম সেগুলো আসলেই অনেক সুন্দর ছিল তাই তো আমার মনে হচ্ছিল প্রত্যেকটা ফুল গাছ একটা করে কিনে নিয়ে যায় এবং বাড়িতে লাগাই। কিন্তু আমার বাড়িতে তো গাছ লাগানোর মত এতটা জায়গা নেই তাই আমি সবগুলো গাছ কেনার মত সুযোগ করে তুলতে পারলাম না। যদি আমার বাড়িতে গাছ লাগানোর মতো যথেষ্ট জায়গা থাকতো তাহলে অবশ্যই আমি প্রচুর পরিমাণে গাছ কিনে আনতাম আর সেই গাছগুলো এনে আমার বাড়িতে লাগিয়ে দিতাম। শুধুমাত্র জায়গার স্বল্পতার কারণে আমি এই কাজটা করতে পারিনি কিন্তু যাদের বাড়িতে প্রচুর পরিমাণে জায়গা রয়েছে তারা যদি ইচ্ছা করে নার্সারি থেকে সুন্দর সুন্দর গাছ কিনে এনে বাড়ির পরিবেশটাকে সুন্দর করে তুলতে পারবে। একই সাথে তারা যেমন বাড়ির পরিবেশটাকে সুন্দর করতে পারবে ঠিক তেমনি ভাবে পরিবেশে অক্সিজেনের পরিমাণ ও বৃদ্ধি করাতে পারবে। আর এই কালচার আমাদের সকলেরই গুরুত্ব সহকারে দেখা দরকার।

If you look closely, you will see how many types of trees Suman sir has brought at the same time. They bought these trees to plant in your brother's school. Not only the ones that were left to be planted in the school but I also bought many trees for my house that day. To be honest I really enjoyed this visit to the nursery and most of all I loved seeing the beautiful collection of plants here. Every one of us should love trees like this and plant trees in abundance by loving trees. If we all can do this, we will all benefit as a whole, no one will benefit alone. That's why we all should take this matter seriously and plant as many trees as possible. And this work can be read better if the government can encourage people to plant trees. If everyone is well motivated then everyone will be motivated to plant trees and they will all push themselves forward in planting trees. And through this our world will become more beautiful. আপনারা যদি একটু ভালোভাবে লক্ষ্য করেন তাহলে দেখতে পাবেন সুমন স্যার একই সাথে কত ধরনের গাছ নিয়ে এসেছে। এই গাছগুলো তারা আপনাদের ভাইয়াদের স্কুলে লাগানোর জন্য কিনেছিল। শুধু যে স্কুলে লাগানোর জন্য বাকিরা ছিল তা কিন্তু নয় আমি আমার বাড়ির জন্য ও অনেক গাছ কিনে এনেছিলাম ওই দিনে। সত্য কথা বলতে আমার কাছে নার্সারিতে ভ্রমণের এই বিষয়টা খুবই ভালো লেগেছে আর সব থেকে বেশি ভালো লেগেছে এখানে সুন্দর সুন্দর গাছের সংগ্রহ দেখে। আমাদের প্রত্যেকটা মানুষের উচিত এভাবেই গাছকে ভালোবাসা এবং গাছকে ভালোবেসে প্রচুর পরিমাণে বৃক্ষরোপণ করা। এই কাজটা যদি আমরা সকলে করতে পারি আমরা সামগ্রিকভাবে সকলেই উপকৃত হব আমরা কেউ একা উপকৃত হব না। এজন্য আমাদের সকলের উচিত এই বিষয়টাকে গুরুত্ব সহকারে দেখা এবং যতটা ভালোভাবে সম্ভব প্রচুর পরিমাণে বৃক্ষরোপণ করা। আর এই কাজটাকে আরো ভালোভাবে পড়তে পারে যদি সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে গাছ লাগানোর বিষয়ে মানুষদেরকে উৎসাহ প্রদান করা যায়। যদি সকলকে ভালোভাবে উৎসাহ প্রদান করা যায় তাহলে সকলেই উদ্বুদ্ধ হবে গাছ লাগানোর ক্ষেত্রে এবং তারা সকলেই গাছ লাগানোর ক্ষেত্রে নিজেদেরকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে আসবে। আর এরই মধ্য দিয়ে আমাদের এই পৃথিবীটা আরো সুন্দর হয়ে যাবে। আমার শেয়ার করা এই পোস্টটি আপনাদের কাছে কেমন লেগেছে সেটা অবশ্যই আমাকে কমেন্ট করে জানাবেন। আজকের মত এ পর্যন্তই পরবর্তী সময়ে আপনাদের মাঝে নতুন কোন একটা পোস্ট নিয়ে হাজির হবার চেষ্টা করব।
