Hello my Blurt Community friends! I wish to share with you the weekend vibes with my little daughter. I choose to focus on her because of the fun she got from the weekend trip. I would like to first of all make a little Introduction of my town and say why the trip to children's playground was so necessary.
My town is found in Bamenda, the regional headquarters of the North West region of Cameroon, Africa. Bamenda is one of cities in the English speaking section of the country that has been in sociopolitical crisis for a couple of years now.
The English speaking section of the Country has and is experiencing a ghost towns in a bit to prove a point from what it seems to be. The denizens are regularly kept indoors through lock down and ghost towns by those seeking self determination.
Recently and on going is another two weeks ghost towns but we are fortunate to have the weekend to go out doors. That's to say Saturday and Sunday are exempted from the days of lockdown.
Last weekend, having been lockeddown in the house for days, I decided to go out with my daughter to receive some fresh air and catch some fun. Infact changing the environment and freeing her from the stress of staying indoors made the day much fun. The merry making with her mates at the "Merry go round" was so much fun for her.
She wished we could go there much often, I wish we could, but the town still remains very much unfriendly, and even more unpredictable! Oh God help us!!!!!
