গ্রামের প্রত্যেকটা মানুষই কৃষি কাজের সঙ্গে জড়িত। কারণ তারা যদি ভালোভাবে কৃষি সম্পর্কে না জানতো। তবে কখনো ধান আবাদ করতে পারত না। তবে এখানে আপনারা যে ছবিটি দেখতে পাচ্ছেন। এইটা বাড়ির উঠানে ছোট্ট একটি জায়গায়। ছোট করে জালিংগা সবজি চাষ করা হয়েছে। কদর সবজি সম্পর্কে আমরা সবাই জানি।আসলে এই সবজি খুবই ভালো। এবং অনেক স্বাদ রয়েছে। যখনই আমরা রান্না করে খেয়ে থাকি অনেক মজা পাওয়া যায়। তাই এখানে এই বাড়ির উঠানে খুব সুন্দরভাবে ছোট্ট করে আমাদের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। আসলে গ্রামের মানুষ কৃষি কাজে। সত্যিই কি খুবই আগ্রহী। তারা যে কোন স্থানে আবাদ করতে পছন্দ করে।আসলে সত্যি কথা হলো যে। শুধু বড় বড় জায়গা। এবং জমি বেশি বেশি থাকলেই যে। আপনি ভালো সবজি চাষ করতে পারেন। সেটা কোন বড় বিষয় না। আসল বিষয় হচ্ছে আপনার নিজের আগ্রহ থাকতে হবে।

গ্রামের মানুষের অনেক আগে থেকে আগ্রহ রয়েছে কৃষিকাজের ওপর। কারণ তারা সেখান থেকে অনেক জীবিকা নির্বাহ করে থাকেন। এই জন্য তারা মনে করে যদি আমরা ছোটখাটো জায়গাতেও। যদি এরকম আমরা কৃষিকাদের ব্যবস্থা করি। তবে সেখানে যদি কোন ভালো সবজি আবাদ করে সেখান থেকে। অল্প হলেও তো উপার্জন করতে পারবো।পৃথিবীতে সারা দেশে কত গ্রাম রয়েছে। অনেক গরিব তারাও কিন্তু এইভাবে কৃষি কাজ করে। অনেক টাকা উপার্জন করেই সারা জীবন চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে।একজন কৃষক অনেক দূর পর্যন্ত এগিয়ে যেতে পারে। কারণ আমাদের বাংলাদেশ থেকে অনেক দেশ পর্যন্ত এইসব সবজি পৌঁছে যায়। এবং রপ্তানি হয়ে থাকে এবং সে কারণে তো আমরা এতদূর পর্যন্ত আসতে পারছি। তাই আমাদের এরকম উচিত খুব সুন্দর ভাবে নিজেদের জমিতে। এরকম ভালোভাবে ফসল উৎপাদন করা উচিত।এখন প্রায় আমাদের শীত চলে এসেছে। দেখতে গেলে মনে করেন আমাদের মাঝে শীত এসে গেছে। কিন্তু যারা কৃষিকাজে আগ্রহ এবং অনেক আগে থেকে। এখান থেকে টাকা উপার্জন করে থাকে। তারা কিন্তু অগ্রিম আগে থেকে সবজির লাগিয়ে রেখেছে।যখনই আমরা ভালোভাবে ঠান্ডায় অনুভূতি পাব। তখনই যখন আমরা সকালে বের হব। তখনই দেখতে পাব কত কৃষকেরা তাদের নিজেদের জমি থেকে সবজি সংগ্রহ করে বিক্রয় করার জন্য গ্রামে গ্রামে ঘুরতেছি। এই নামই হলো হচ্ছে আসল কৃষক একজন জীবিকা নির্বাহী করে।
