Mosquito infestation is a very common problem in construction projects. Because, there are many places where water accumulates, which creates an ideal environment for the breeding of mosquitoes. In particular, open spaces of buildings under construction, unsanitary areas and open drainage systems increase the number of mosquitoes. Therefore regular mosquito control is very important to protect the health of construction workers and to prevent diseases like dengue or malaria.
For this reason, smoke fogging technology is used in construction projects. This method uses a special medicated smoke that kills mosquitoes and other harmful insects.Generally, the insecticides used in these fumes are quickly absorbed into the air and spread into the surrounding area, thereby preventing the spread of mosquitoes.
Smoke is being spread on the side a building under construction. This is being done to control mosquitoes.A couple of workers are working on the top of the building, and thick smoke can be seen below, possibly containing pesticides.Generally, this type fogging is done in the morning afternoon, as this is when mosquitoes are most active.
Using smoke also requires some precautions.First inhalation pesticide fumes can cause respiratory allergic problems. Therefore workers should wear masks during fogging and be careful not to inhale fumes directly.Second best stay out of the area for some time after fogging, so that smoke can dissipate and the harmful chemicals can wear off.
Fogging alone is not enough to prevent mosquitoes. It is very important to quickly remove accumulated water from the construction project area, maintain regular cleanliness and make the workers aware.By adopting multiple measures in this way it will be possible reduce the generation mosquitoes and the construction workers will be able work healthily.
Such initiatives are beneficial not only construction site workers but also to the people in surrounding area.Everyone can be safe from diseases like dengue and malaria by controlling mosquitoes right time and rules.
