I have been very busy all day since morning. After the whole day's busyness, I came again to share the post with you.Today i will share with some political context. But its not only political matter.its a revolution. That's why i thought i will share something about this revolution. Today I will try to share an important event that happened in Bangladesh in 2024. The above picture was taken on August 5, 2024. August 5, 2024 will be a memorable day in the history of Bangladesh. On this day, the long 15 years of political power fell at the hands of the brave students of Bangladesh.A huge movement, thousands of lives lost. This movement started against the quota based system in Bangladesh. Some information about Well Quota. The 2024 Quota Reform Movement is a movement organized to demand the reform of the quota-based recruitment system in all types of government jobs in Bangladesh. After the circular issued by the Bangladesh government on October 4, 2018 was declared invalid by the High Court Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court on June 5, 2024, the quota system reform movement came into discussion again.The circular was issued in the wake of the 2018 quota reform movement . The circular abolished all existing quotas for recruitment to posts in Grade IX (formerly Class I) and Grades 10-13 (formerly Class II) in government services.July 2024 , student protest Clockwise from above: Police blocking a mass gathering of students protesting quota reforms in 2024, a female student chanting "Quota na Medha? The all phase of this movement:- First Phase: 6-10 June 2024 (4 days) Second Phase: 30 June – 22 July 2024 (3 weeks and 1 day) Third Phase: 29 July 2024 – (36 July) 5 August 2024 (5 days). The main reasons of started this movement is,Previous quota system in government jobs reinstated by Bangladesh High Court by declaring 2018 government circular as illegal. ![IMG20240805182228.jpg]()

Then i will share some Notable Events:- The Appellate Division ordered a four-week stay on the quota issue on July 10. Protesting students were subjected to repression, armed and violent attacks by the Bangladesh Chhatra League. Police tried to disperse the protesting students by firing rubber bullets, pellets, sound grenades, tear gas and batons. The government closed almost all educational institutions indefinitely and suspended HSC examinations. State-owned television channel Bangladesh Television Building, Jatrabari Flyover , Expressway Toll Plaza, Bangladesh Road Transport Authority Building and Disaster Management Building were partially damaged by the fire of the protesters. The government shut down all forms of internet and imposed a nationwide curfew and deployed the army. Stay till today, I will write about the rest of the story of this movement and its final victory in the next post, Inshallah.
