Nunia or Nun Khuria, other local names: Bull Khuria, Nune Shak, Bull Khuria; Scientific name: Portulaca oleracea; Family: Portulacaceae. Main Uses: Vegetable, medicinal; Other Uses: Eaten as a vegetable and also as a mixed vegetable. Its medicinal properties are also sufficient. Sugarcane is grown in field and mixed crop fields. From Falgun to Jayashta month. Nuniya and Nun Khuria vegetables look almost the same. However, the leaves of Nun Khuria are a little smaller than those of Nunia.
Stems are smooth, reddish or reddish green, and the stems and branches are spread over the ground and the leaves are arranged in knots and tips. The yellow flowers are up to 6 mm long. Flowers bloom at any time of the year depending on rainfall. Single flower blooms in the center of the leaf cluster. Flowers bloom a few hours after exposure to sunlight. After ripening, the fruit bursts and the seeds fall out.
The long roots penetrate deep into the soil and survive drought. It is a perennial, succulent, bushy plant. Leaves are oily and juicy. The leaves are dark green. Vegetables rich in high-quality antioxidant vitamins are mixed with other vegetables and fried. The taste is slightly salty and sour. This vegetable has a lot of nutrients. I bought this vegetable from the market. Today I will fry nunia vegetables. Cut the vegetables and washed them.
After that, I chopped some onions, garlic, raw chillies into two pieces for the vegetable stir-fry. Now boil the vegetables and add salt and cut onion, garlic and pepper. I took it down with steam. This time, I fried the rest with chopped onions, chopped garlic, and chopped raw chillies with oil. After that, I fried it for a while with the boiled vegetables. After that I took it down. I ate it with hot hot rice. The vegetable is a little salty to eat. I finished the recipe here today. Everyone will be fine and healthy. Allah is Hafez.
