"In ancient times, cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this."
Terry Pratchett
English author, humorist, and satirist
(April 28, 1948 - March 12, 2015)
Yes, indeed, in ancient times, Egyptians worshipped the goddesses Bastet, and Sekhmet, who bore the head of a cat! Sir Terry Pratchett beautifully and satirically describes the personality of today's domestic cats in the humorous quote above!
As they say, you take care of a dog, and he thinks you must be God, and you take care of a cat, and he thinks he must be God!
On my part, I have always loved the laid-back attitude of cats. Perhaps cats are the best creatures to teach us human beings how to be relaxed and carefree amidst all the hustle and bustle of modern life! And cats don't demand food, they command food! 😄
So, my artist husband Sunil and I conceptualized and designed the above AI-generated fun meme of a cat wearing a black hat and smoking a cigar while lying on a cushioned sofa!
