Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Blurtlandia!

It's the weekend once again, and we all know what that means: it means Caturday, which is my favorite day of the week!

Is that a hairball, waiting to happen?

I'm very grateful that we have a Caturday Community here on Blurt now, and if you have a cat... or several cats... or just love cats in general, why don't you take some pictures of your favorite feline friends and make a post about it!

I know a lot of the good people of Blurt surely must have cats since we are basically one of the most popular companion animals on the planet!

It's always important to stay on top of what's happening outside!

Effort...?

Sometimes people talk about effort as the thing that needs to be rewarded in the world of blogging. But is that necessarily true?

Is quality a better measure? And — if so — what does quality actually look like? I'm pretty sure people would have lots of opinions about that!

I'm sure there are those out there who would argue that posting pictures of cats would be considered "low effort content." Whereas everyone is naturally entitled to their opinion, such critics have clearly not tried to photograph cats!

But I'm not going to dwell too much on that... just going to move forward with my day and say that "quality is in the eye of the beholder."

My fuzzy housemate Smudge INSISTS that she is high quality!
