Hello all Felines and Hoomans of Blurtlandia!

It sure has been a long time since we have posted an update... but we have finally found a few quiet moments!

Our young cats are all grown up!

Last time we updated, Shangri (fluffy and orange) and Nala (calico) were relatively new to our place — they came to us as "large kittens" at the end of August — but now they have fully settled in and integrated into our home!

The are a couple of very sweet natured young cats, each with their own personalities fully developed.

I am still "Number One Cat!"

Nala is the little Calico girl-cat.

She's very curious, as well as very social. Whenever the Hoomans move to a different room, she'll follow within a few minutes.

And she's always getting into things! According to the Mom-Hooman, we will never be able to have regular curtains again!

Shangri — sometimes known as "The Big Floof" — is one of the sweetest and most loving cats we have ever met... as well as one of the most sensitive.

People always comment on his dramatic copper colored eyes — one of the rarest eye colors in the world of cats.

Whereas the two of them are still very pair bonded, they have also become friends with everyone else in the family.

In particular, Shadow — the orginal "Curator Cat" — and Nala seem to have become best friends, and can often be found sleeping together.

Our old lady cat Smudge is friendly enough with Shangri and Nala, but she's just not as mobile at her age, so she let's them know when enough is enough.

She's doing remarkably well, given that she is rapidly approaching 20 years of age — definitely a big number for a cat!

Of course, with four cats in the household, there are definitely a lot more photo opportunities... which is another good reason to resume posting here on Blurt!

And with that thought in mind, it's time of go exploring here to see if there are other folks posting about their cats!
