Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Blurtlandia!

I hope your weekend is treating you well so far, and I hope that everybody is remembering that Saturday means CATURDAY! Yes, it's time to pull out those cat pictures and share with the world!

I am so glad that Blurt now has its own Caturday Community thanks to the "Communities" feature on the BeBlurt interface, and thanks to @saboin who started it! Now I just hope we get more people to join and become regular posters!

If you're reading this and not already using BeBlurt, you really ought to give it a try — it is a very attractive and easy-to-use interface, and it has communities! Join an existing community, or create one of your own!

Smudge, sleeping peacefully

Meanwhile, everything at our place is going pretty well; it's being a fairly quiet Summer Caturday around here.

The nice warm sunny days with a gentle breeze are continuing, which means the Hoomans open up the windows and the doors so there is just the screens and screen door separating us cats from the outside and I can lie in front of the open door and get the fresh air!

They accidentally forgot to close the screen door earlier and everything was open to the outside, but I really had no interest in going any further than the front porch. I'm basically a pampered indoor cat now and I have no desire to get out there among the predators who might make a snack of me!

My fuzzyhousemate Smudge is doing well and still enjoying her very senior years she's 16, which means that she likes to sleep most of the time.

But I do know she enjoys the sunshine as well, because in mid-afternoon we watch how she leaves her basket by the hallway and goes and lays in the sun by the windows.

It was nice to see the crypto markets take a bit of an upturn earlier this week! I suppose a good bit of it was due to the Ripple (XRP) ruling, and now I just hope that the slightly positive sentiment spills over into the broader altcoins, and maybe we can even see a bit of a price increase in our own Blurt token!
