Walk around the market

Hello, all my lovely friends

When I get back home to Trang Province, I will exercise to the fullest. I will do some light exercise by walking and shopping.

Good morning.

I have now arrived in Bangkok. I booked a room near Wat Taling Chan, which is where my husband's younger brother's funeral is being held.
We booked a room here for 2 nights at 400 baht per night. I've been telling you since last night. Last night, after attending the funeral, I went back to my room to sleep.

And here, the funeral ceremony and ceremonies are different from the temples near my home. In Bangkok, the ceremony is simple and fast. There are not many rituals, so the ceremony is simple and not complicated.

Wat Taling Chan

The temple here has closing times and times.
The place where the body is laid opens in the morning at 10:00 and closes at night at 20:30 approximately.

Breakfast menu and walking to the Wat Taling Chan floating market

Today, there is a market in the temple area. It is located next to the river and it is my first time here. This morning, I dressed in my workout clothes and walked out of the room. And go call relatives, don't say I'm going to exercise on the ground floor of the apartment or the room.
My husband and I stopped by the relatives' room. Then we sat down to drink coffee and gave encouragement to relatives until we didn't go to exercise. But there was a new plan because there was a market in that area. Relatives made an appointment to have breakfast at this floating market.
Everyone went their separate ways to get dressed. As for me, I was in my exercise clothes. I started by going up the stairs because I lived on the 4th floor of the apartment. Relatives told me to hurry up and get dressed because after I had breakfast, I would go to the temple to join the chanting ceremony.
I only exercised a little bit, going up and down the stairs a few times. Then I hurried to take a shower, get dressed, and follow my relatives downstairs because they were waiting for me.
As I said, we traveled by van. When we went to the floating market, which was near the temple where my brother's body was, we came by van. It was a walk, but everyone who wanted to take a van got on the van. When we arrived at the temple, before entering the temple, there was a small alley that said "Directions to the Floating Market".
My relatives and I walked down along the Dok Son that was written. But something happened, which was that we were talking until we got carried away and turned into a house of someone in the village. In this floating market area, they call it the wrong way, the wrong way into my house. I really apologized to my relatives and walked out.
The entrance to the market is a small alley decorated with trees, flowers and various ornamental plants. My relatives and I walked and took pictures along the way. On the walls along the way, there are paintings of art about this floating market. I took pictures at some points along the way as I said.

Taling Chan Floating Market

Or another name is called Two Canals Market (At the temple area, there are people watching cars, organizing cars to park correctly and in an orderly manner. He is the one who told me and told me the story of this place. This is the information from the villagers in this area that I have learned.)

When arriving at the market, look to the left and right on both sides. There are many vendors selling many things. It looks lively and there are quite a few foreign tourists here. There are clothes, plants, souvenirs, especially tour boats. Of course, I like this very much. Before walking to buy food to eat for breakfast, my husband and I asked for information about going on a tour boat this time. Asking in case there is enough time to go on a tour boat with them. The information we got was that at 10:30 the boat will leave from this point and take us to visit about 1-2 temples and feed the fish. The journey takes 1.30 hours. It is a fairly large long-tail boat because it can accommodate about 22 tourists. There is also a charter price of 1,000 to 1,300 baht, which can accommodate 4 people per boat.
After getting the information, my husband and I went to find something to eat. Today we bought 2 cups of fresh coffee and I had a breakfast of Khanom Jeen. My relatives ate rice with curry. The prices here are quite cheap and the food is delicious. Rice with 2 types of curry is 40 baht and there are many kinds of desserts. Thai desserts, fruits, everything is delicious. Everyone walked around to buy things and then sat together to eat together. When we finished eating,
we walked around to see the products in this market.
In this area, there is a Thai music performance for tourists to watch. It is a very beautiful scene. So I did not miss taking those pictures to show my friends. And on the other side of the floating market, there was little time left. We had not walked there yet, but I saw that they were selling seafood on the other side. I wanted to walk there. Save it as homework. If there is a chance left today, I will walk. It is time to go to the temple. Then my relatives and I walked back to the temple, the same way because the other way is a dead end.

Attend the funeral ceremony of my younger brother

We will come to the ceremony at 10:00 am. The temple opened the door. Then we went to pay respect to my younger brother's body and listen to the monks chant and listen to the sermon.
When it was finished, it was time for lunch. Everyone went to eat lunch. As for me, I sat in seclusion under the tree in front of Wat Taling Chan to write an article about walking and shopping in the market.

I will come back to update again. Today, I have to say goodbye for now. See you next time. Thank you for following and supporting.
Thank you.🙏🥰❤️🏃‍♀️
