Good morning, my lovely friends.
It's time to wake up and exercise at 2:00 AM.
Today, I have to leave Trang Province to attend a funeral for my husband's relative in Bangkok. So, I started exercising before traveling today. This time, I went by van and rented a van for this trip.
I started exercising at 2:00 - 2:30 AM.
My phone rang, so I quickly answered the phone. My relative called and asked if I had dressed and prepared anything. I replied that I was about to prepare.
So, I exercised for half an hour today. After that, I prepared the things I had to take care of, brought food for the parrots, and prepared my bag and clothes. At 3:30 AM, I drove a motorcycle taxi out of the garden to pick up my relatives on the concrete road to take the van to their house in the village.
Because we had an appointment to meet there, we took a van. There were 8 of us in total. Not long after, the van came to pick me up and left Trang Province at 4:00 AM. I took some pictures along the way.

Eating breakfast in Surat Thani Province

The first meal on the trip

The van driver took us to a fairly large gas station. In that gas station, there were coffee shops, convenience stores, and many restaurants. But the van driver drove everyone out of there even before getting off.
I was a little confused because I wanted to use the restroom too. After driving for about 3 minutes, there was a restaurant on the side of the road. It was a breakfast restaurant with a sign that said it also sells made-to-order food. Then everyone got off the car and headed down to sit at a table in the restaurant. The van driver knew the tourist attractions and places to eat, so he took us to this restaurant. This restaurant sells rice porridge, coffee, and dim sum. The highlight of this restaurant is the large patongo. The rice porridge is in a large bowl. There is a sign saying so. I ordered rice porridge. Then, when everyone read the sign, they ordered. The special or normal rice porridge is in a very large bowl.
When I saw the rice porridge, I knew I definitely wouldn't finish it. I ordered a cup of coffee with patongo. In the end, it tasted very delicious. But as you can see from the first look, there was a lot of food and a large bowl. I really couldn't finish it.

After I finished eating, I asked the owner for permission to take pictures. The shop allowed me to walk around and take pictures. Then the bill was 50 baht per bowl of rice porridge, 5 baht per pair of fried dough sticks, and 20 baht per cup of coffee. The total cost for this morning meal was over 500 baht. After that, we walked to the car to continue our journey.

Chumphon rest stop

We stopped at a PTT gas station so that everyone could use the restroom and find something to eat at the shop again. We stopped at a convenience store.

Then we continued our journey. I think we should arrive before dusk.

The driver told me that I felt that it was a free time to sit in the car and see nature. Along the way, some parts of the concrete road were under construction, which caused traffic jams in some parts. Here, on both sides of the road, there were souvenir shops selling durian and dragon fruit, which were cheaper than in Trang Province. Durian here is 80 baht per kilogram, which was clearly visible with a sign. While I was in the car, I noticed the price signs for durian and dragon fruit sold from the side of the road where there were many durian shops.

So everyone in the car asked if anyone wanted to stop and buy some durian. They all said loudly like another teacher that they should stop and buy some when they return from Bangkok.

We arrived at the rest stop again, stopped to refuel, and everyone got off the car to stretch their legs and do their own business. As for me, I went to buy some fruit, which was a small shop that sold fruit in a cabinet and boiled beans. What was more special was that they sold old coconuts. When I saw them, I walked closer and looked at the price written on the 3 coconuts. The price was 200 baht each. So I told everyone that I had old coconuts for sale. All my relatives were excited about these 3 coconuts because the price was quite high. So the vendor said that they were coconuts with coconut milk. I understood what the vendor was saying because I often ate them when I was on Koh Phangan because there were a lot of coconuts on Koh Phangan and coconuts with coconut milk were available in large quantities and the price was not high. My relatives had never eaten coconuts with coconut milk before, so I bought some coconuts for them to try. I bought 1 for 200 baht. It was very exciting. The taste of coconuts with coconut milk was sweet and creamy. Especially, the vendor gave me a spoon and sugar. When we arrived, everyone got in the car and tried the coconuts together. Some people said that the taste was delicious but not sweet. Some people said that the taste of eating coconut meat with coconut milk was just right. Finally, I tried adding the sugar that the vendor gave me and tried it again. The taste was delicious, like dessert.

The conclusion was like that. It was a new taste of fruit that I tried and was excited all the way. Today, I have to say goodbye for now. See you next time. Thank you for following and supporting me.🙏🏃‍♀️❤️✌️
