I hiked the full Marjan trail twice, ascending the thousands of stairs to the summit and then descending the scenic nature trails on the other side. Each hike was unique, as I explored various smaller paths offering breathtaking views. Amidst the lush woods, historical remnants like World War II bunkers can be spotted, along with memorials to unfamiliar individuals. As the nature trails conclude, a choice between left and right paths presents itself, both leading back to Split. Opting for the left route during my first hike, I mainly followed the road, while the right path during my second hike captivated me more. This tranquil route guided me through a picturesque park before returning to Split.
I've trekked up Marjan's peak multiple times, conquering the ascent and descent via the stairs. Whether it was to relish sunsets, admire panoramic vistas, or simply find solace with a soda, Marjan offered a delightful escapade not to be overlooked when visiting Split.
