Wat Phra Ngam has a distinctive white architecture. Wat Phra Ngam is located in Ban Pho Subdistrict, Mueang Trang District, Trang Province. It is a temple of the people, affiliated with the Mahanikaya sect.
Hello friends, today I will take you all to experience the beauty of Wat Phra Ngam in Trang Province, a temple that is like an oasis of peace and white architecture that stands out unlike any other temple. To get to this temple after completing my daily duties, I set off in the afternoon with GPS as my best friend, leading the way to Wat Phra Ngam, which is a destination I have never been to before. The route was smooth. Today, there were no traffic jams, making the journey comfortable.
History of Wat Phra Ngam
Wat Phra Ngam is located in Ban Pho Subdistrict, Mueang Trang District, Trang Province. It is a temple of the people, belonging to the Mahanikaya sect.
Inside the temple, there are many statues of Luang Pu Thuat and Buddha images in various postures. If you are ready, let's go see them.
When arriving at Wat Phra Ngam, the first thing that I saw was the beauty of the white temple, which was very striking, just like the name Wat Phra Ngam. In fact, the situation of this temple is very distinctive and unique, because other temples have yellow, gold, red, and green colors.
I got out of the car with my Canon camera and mobile phone, which my wife took pictures with her mobile phone while I used my Canon camera to help me take pictures. I started by admiring the temple gate and taking pictures of the temple wall, which is a simple wall that looks very beautiful and matches the temple. In this area, what is majestic and unique is the large white pagoda with a gold base that stands out as I said, very beautiful. It is located at the entrance to the temple. And the temple wall area is the same as every other temple, which is where the ashes of the deceased are kept along the wall. But here, the organization looks very neat.
On the left side is the bell tower, which has stairs leading up to the top. However, I chose not to go up there. I chose to take pictures from the bottom.
I walked around taking pictures in front of the bell tower.
In front, there is history about the bell tower and about this son. If you come to visit this temple, you can walk around and read the history about this temple.
And walk to the area along the path to take pictures of the church. The church here is a white church, which looks very different from other temples. From the patterns on the sky and the church walls, there are 2 Buddha images in front of the church. There are also Buddha images at the back of the church. There are 2 white lions on the stairs to the church. The church gate is closed, including the inner gate. To see the Buddha images in the church, you have to ask permission from the abbot. The abbot is busy and not at the temple, so I cannot take pictures inside the church. While taking pictures inside the temple, I asked for permission to take pictures with the monks in the temple. I walked around taking pictures at various angles that I thought were important and beautiful. I noticed that there seemed to be some kind of ceremony in the area at the pavilion and the crematorium. I wasn't sure, but I didn't go into the crowded area. There were about 3-5 people in that area. I looked from a distance and noticed that there was a cremation ceremony at the pavilion and the crematorium. Then I remembered that of course, 16:00-17:00 is the time that the temple usually does this mission. During this time, when I travel to the temple in the afternoon, I often encounter this kind of mission in almost every temple. Birth, aging, illness, and death are normal things. There is birth, so there is death, they go hand in hand. So I walked around to take pictures in another area of the temple.
I walked to the church again to take pictures of the building in the church area, which is a beautiful building. It is a multi-purpose building used for various activities. I got information from the monks. This beam is a white building and has beautiful hanging flowers in front of the building. The inside of the building is for religious activities and other activities for children and youth. The monks in the temple introduced me and I could go inside to see, but I said it was okay, so I thanked the monks.
I walked further from the white building, walked onto the road inside the temple. At this corner, there was Phra Sivali, brake acid, and carrying an alms bowl. Standing in this area. I walked around to the back of the church. This area is a 3-way intersection and there are signs to the restroom and signs to the abbot's quarters and various species of animals, which are clearly and systematically marked. I am sure that if my friends come to visit this temple, they will definitely not get lost.
I noticed that cars were gradually driving out of the temple. People who were waiting for the cremation on the crematorium side were gradually returning. So I decided to walk to take some pictures. This area has large trees that provide quite a bit of shade. Because the large trees grow in this area, it makes this area moist and looks very cool. I took pictures from this area to the crematorium and the pavilion next to the crematorium. In this area, there is also a small entrance to the temple. There are also pagodas for ashes in this area along the way. How do you feel, friends? With the beautiful temple, I think it is beautiful. If you have a chance to visit Trang Province, I recommend that you stop by to visit this temple. It is beautiful, clean, and pleasing to the eye. Everything looks neat and tidy. If I have a chance, I will take you to see more beautiful temples in Trang Province. Please wait and see. Today, I have to say goodbye for now.
