Greetings, Blurt community!

Today, I want to take you on a
journey back to the memories I
created while traveling from
Lashio to my hometown, Pyin Oo
Lwin. The 2-day expedition was
filled with adventure, with one
night spent on the road,
navigating rough terrains that
occasionally required us to push
our car and proceed on foot.

As we left Taunggyi City, passing
through the village of Wendang
City, a checkpoint marked the
beginning of a mesmerizing
experience. The first sight of a
long mountain range caught my
eye, followed by the gradual
revelation of a river and a
mountain that would later capture
my imagination. This mountain, I
discovered, is aptly named
Elephant Head Mountain due to
its striking resemblance to the
majestic creature.

Navigating the journey, we
encountered a river with depths
reaching a man's waist. While
inviting for a refreshing dip, the
strong current urged caution. For
those seeking a different
experience, boats were available
for rent, allowing a picturesque
cruise along the river.

For those venturing from
Mandalay, a roughly 2-hour drive
leads to this enchanting place.
Beyond the rock dam, the road
unfolds, revealing the hidden gem
of Elephant Head Mountain.
