The Regional Delegation of Environment, Protection of Nature, and Sustainable Development (RD-MINEPDED) for the North West, in collaboration with The Greens and the Network of Environmental Stakeholders Cameroon (NEST-Cam), is organizing a sports, recreational, and environmental walk on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, to commemorate this year's World Environment Day under the theme: "Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience" and slogan: "Our Land, Our Future: We Are #GenerationRestoration."
The walk will begin at 07:00 AM from G.B.H.S Downtown to Governor's Junction, through the newly constructed stairway on Bamenda Station. During the walk, we will assess the state of the environment in Bamenda, enjoy its beautiful views, and participate in stretching and dancing activities to relax the body in nature.
Come prepared to connect with nature, walk, have fun, learn, and share your knowledge and experiences.
