Hello everyone
Yesterday evening, my family and I wanted to enjoy a relaxing dinner by the beach. We searched for beachfront restaurants near our home on TikTok, and we came across a stylish bar-style restaurant by Bang Tao Beach, one of the longest beaches in Phuket. After watching the video, we decided to visit Hugo Hub. We left home around 4:00 PM since it was only 13 kilometers away. However, the drive took almost 50 minutes due to heavy traffic on the way and narrow streets leading to the restaurant. Some parts of the road were so tight that it felt like we were driving in single lanes. When we finally reached Hugo Hub, we struggled to find parking. After circling the area multiple times, I almost gave up and suggested heading back home. Thankfully, we spotted a parking area specifically for Hugo Hub customers, and we decided to give it a try.
After parking the car, we walked into Hugo Hub, and along the way, we were greeted by an array of small, charming food and drink stalls. These little shops added a lively and vibrant touch to the path leading to the beach.
We stopped to order some food and then made our way to the beach, aiming to secure seats as close to the shoreline as possible. This spot offered the perfect setting to enjoy the serene evening ambiance.
Along the way, there were plenty of tables to choose from, but we walked right past them, focused solely on finding a table closest to the beach. The evening atmosphere was lively, filled mostly with foreign tourists and a few Thai visitors here and there.
Finally, we found the perfect spot—a table right by the beach with cozy orange beanbags and a small table facing the sea. The view was absolutely stunning, with the sound of waves gently crashing in the background.
Of course, one of our main reasons for coming here was to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, our view was partially obstructed by a small hill in the distance, which hid the sun just as it was setting. Still, the colors of the sky and the ambiance were absolutely mesmerizing. 🌄✨
Soon, my drink was served—a beautifully presented pineapple smoothie in a tall glass. The vibrant yellow of the drink perfectly matched the relaxing vibe of the evening. In front of me was the vast blue sea, dotted with numerous fishing boats gently swaying in the water. It was the perfect backdrop for a peaceful and cozy evening. 🍍🌊✨
The scenery in front of me was breathtaking—rows of vibrant fishing boats resting on the calm sea with a backdrop of lush mountains and the evening sky. The soft sound of waves lapping against the shore created the perfect ambiance for a relaxing evening.
We waited a long time for our food—nearly 50 minutes—because most customers seemed to be ordering Japanese dishes. As the evening grew darker, the Japanese cuisine we ordered finally arrived at our table.
The food presentation was absolutely stunning, set against the beautiful backdrop of the ocean. The sushi platter looked vibrant and fresh, with a variety of colors and textures that made it worth the long wait. The setting sun and calm sea added a magical touch to our evening dining experience.
As the evening went on, we enjoyed the peaceful sound of the waves and the cool breeze brushing against our faces. The fresh sushi and the unique atmosphere of Hugo Hub made the wait worthwhile. Despite the minor challenges of finding parking and the long wait for food, the overall experience was unforgettable. It's not every day you get to dine with such a stunning ocean view and vibrant ambiance.
Before leaving, I took a moment to soak in the magical atmosphere one last time. The colorful fishing boats floating on the water and the soft lights from the beach bars created a postcard-perfect scene. Hugo Hub truly delivered an evening to remember, blending great food, a relaxed vibe, and breathtaking views.
If you're ever in Bang Tao Beach, I highly recommend visiting Hugo Hub. Just make sure to come a bit earlier to grab the best spot and prepare to take in the beauty of Phuket in all its glory. 😊

Yes, I did experienced way back 2019. That was a long time already but right now I have never been to beaches because beach are very far from where we reside.
