Hello everyone
Today is a special day—it’s my birthday! 🎉💛 Like every year, I love celebrating it in a meaningful way. Since my birthday falls on a Monday this time, my family and I decided to "make merit" in advance at the beautiful Wat Bang Thong temple last Sunday. (If you missed it, you can read about our spiritual visit here.) 🙏✨
Now that the spiritual side of my birthday is complete, it’s time for a little culinary celebration! To make this day even more special, my husband let me choose my favorite restaurant, so we headed to Natural Restaurant Airport, a cozy spot near Phuket International Airport that serves one of my absolute favorite dishes—something I haven’t found anywhere else! 🍽️✨
That dish is crispy fried Bai Liang leaves, served with a delicious dipping sauce. 🥬✨ Even though fried food isn’t the best for my waistline, the amazing taste makes it completely worth it! Some indulgences are just too good to resist! 😋🔥

Around 1:00 PM, we arrived at Natural Restaurant Airport. After placing our order, I couldn’t resist capturing the surroundings—it has become such a natural part of my routine that I feel like photography is now a part of my life. 📸✨ No matter where I go, I always find myself snapping photos to preserve the moment! 💛🌿

I went upstairs to take some photos from the second floor of the restaurant. This area is an open-air space, beautifully decorated with lush ornamental plants. 🌿✨ Some of the plants have long roots hanging down, creating a natural curtain-like effect that looks absolutely stunning. The combination of greenery and open space makes it a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery! 📸💛

This is my favorite spot in Natural Restaurant Airport! The restaurant has several dining areas, each with its own unique charm. From the second floor, I captured a view looking down at the waterfall and pond area, where there are four dining tables set within the water. 🌿💦✨ The entire space is lush with greenery, creating a refreshing and serene atmosphere—perfectly fitting for the restaurant’s name! 📸💛

*After finishing my photo session on the second floor, I returned to our table. We had chosen our usual favorite spot—a table extending over the pond, right next to the waterfall feature. Every time we visit this restaurant, we always prefer sitting in this peaceful area, as it makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. 🌿💦✨
By the time I got back to my seat, our food had already arrived! The first dish was Chicken Stick Cheese, a crispy chicken roll stuffed with gooey, melted cheese. 🧀🍗✨ It was absolutely delicious, and no matter how many times we come here, we always order this dish—it’s one of our all-time favorites! 😋🔥

Next up was Pad See Ew with Chicken, a classic Thai stir-fried noodle dish. 🍜✨ The aroma was incredibly inviting, and the flavor was just perfect—rich, savory, and full of that delicious wok-fried goodness. Every bite was as satisfying as it looked! 😋🔥

This next dish is my absolute favorite—crispy fried Bai Liang leaves*! 🥬✨ It was served with a delicious dipping sauce, making every bite crispy, flavorful, and so addictive. This dish is incredibly hard to find, which makes it even more special whenever I get to enjoy it. Though it’s more of a snack than a main course, I could honestly eat a whole

The final dish was Stir-fried Crispy Pork with Kale, a classic Thai favorite. 🥬🐷✨ The pork was perfectly crispy, and the kale was fresh and full of flavor. I can confidently say that every dish at this restaurant is absolutely delicious—there hasn’t been a single time that I’ve been disappointed! 😋💛

By the end of our meal, I felt completely satisfied—both with the delicious food and the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant. From the cheesy chicken sticks to the crispy Bai Liang leaves and the perfectly cooked stir-fried pork with kale, every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. No wonder we keep coming back here time and time again! 🍽️✨
*What I love most about Natural Restaurant Airport is not just the food, but also the peaceful, nature-filled ambiance. Whether you’re sitting by the pond with the waterfall feature or enjoying the lush greenery on the second floor, it’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a good meal. 🌿💦

Wow. This is a great post of Nature, Flavor & Comfort. I have seen there are all the awesome photographs you captured and shared with us.
The food looks so delicious... I'm curious what bai Liang leaves is and so I googled it. When I look at the picture le leaves are very familiar to me. It's called "Bago" in our place. I didn't know that it's good to be crispy fried. What I only knew was cooked in coconut milk or sauteed it. Thanks for sharing this, someday I will try to make one if I go home to my grandma's place.
