Hello everyone
This morning, the weather was absolutely perfect. After dropping our son off at school, my husband and I decided to drive to Khao Rang Viewpoint to catch the sunrise. This spot is one of the few places in Phuket where you can enjoy such a beautiful sunrise. Khao Rang is located almost at the heart of Phuket Town, making it a convenient yet serene escape. The viewpoint is also a popular destination for morning joggers, thanks to its shaded uphill path lined with trees, making it an ideal route for exercising early in the day.
We arrived at Khao Rang Viewpoint around 7:00 AM, just as the sun was rising higher on the left. The golden rays illuminated the scene, casting a warm glow over the cityscape below. In front of us lay a stunning view of Phuket Town, filled with buildings and houses. In the distance, we could see the sparkling sea and scattered islands on the horizon.
Khao Rang (เขารัง) is one of Phuket’s iconic viewpoints, located in the heart of Phuket Town. It offers stunning panoramic views of the city, the coastline, and the surrounding greenery. On clear days, you can even spot nearby islands. It’s a popular spot for both tourists and locals to relax, take photos, and enjoy the scenery.
The view from the Khao Rang Viewpoint was breathtaking! From the cityscape below to the distant sea and islands, everything looked so vibrant under the morning sunlight. It was a sight I could never get tired of.
The morning air at Khao Rang Viewpoint was incredibly refreshing. It felt so good to take a deep breath and fill my lungs with the crisp, pure air. A perfect way to start the day!
After spending nearly an hour admiring the stunning city and sea views, we walked back to the parking area. By now, the ground was beautifully adorned with fallen flowers, creating a picturesque scene that felt almost magical. 🌸
If you ever visit Khao Rang Viewpoint, I highly recommend coming in the morning. During this time, you'll likely spot groups of monkeys wandering and playfully running around the area. It's such a lively and delightful sight to witness! 🐒🌄
After enjoying the breathtaking views at Khao Rang, we decided to stop by our favorite dim sum spot near Naka Market. Whenever we’re in this area, it’s a must for us to drop by this place. The variety of dim sum here is incredible, and every bite is absolutely delicious! 🥢🥟
After selecting from the wide variety of dim sum neatly displayed in the chilled cabinet, the staff took our choices to steam them to perfection. The aroma of freshly steamed dim sum filled the air, making us even more excited to dig in! 🥢✨
While waiting for the dim sum to be steamed, I enjoyed a cup of hot tea. The warmth of the tea complemented the cool morning air perfectly, creating a moment of pure relaxation. ☕🍃
My husband isn’t much of a dim sum fan, so he opted for a classic breakfast set instead. His plate included eggs, sausages, toast, and a small salad, making for a hearty and satisfying meal. 🥞🍳
Soon, the freshly steamed dim sum was served at our table. Since I didn’t want to overdo it, I carefully selected just a few items to enjoy. Each piece looked so tempting, and I couldn’t wait to dive in! 🥢✨
The cheese balls here are absolutely delicious too! Each bite is crispy on the outside with a gooey, cheesy center that melts in your mouth. 🧀✨
The crispy fried pork toast served with a sweet dipping sauce was a delightful surprise! This was my first time trying it, and it tasted absolutely amazing. 🥢✨
After finishing our meal, we felt so satisfied and refreshed. The combination of a peaceful morning at Khao Rang Viewpoint and a delicious breakfast at our favorite dim sum place made for a perfect start to the day. Phuket never ceases to amaze me with its natural beauty and culinary delights.
