The 3rd Match of the ICC Champions Trophy, 2025 was played today between Afghanistan and National Stadium, Karachi. In which South Africa won the match by a big margin of 107 runs.

South Africa inning- South Africa batted first after winning the toss, started the inning very well, Ryan Rickelton and Tony de Zorzi came to start the inning, the first wicket was dismissed for 28 runs in first ball of the 6th over, Tony de Zorzi dismissed for 11 runs in 11 balls, next batsman Temba Bavuma came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant century partnershio of 129 runs, the second wicket was dismissed for 157 runs in 28.4 overs, Temba Bavuma was dismissed after playing a brilliant half-century inning of 58 runs with the help of 5 boundaries 76 balls, next batsman Rassie van der Dussen came to bat and handled the inning with Ryan Rickelton, the third wicket was dismissed for 201 runs in 35.3 overs, Ryan Rickelton dismissed after playing a very brilliant powerful century inning of 103 runs with the help of 1 six and 7 boundaries in just 106 balls, followed by Aiden Markram came to bat and handled the inning with Rassie van der Dussen, the fourth wicket was dismissed for 248 runs in 42.4 overs, Rassie van der Dussen was dismissed after playing a brilliant half-century inning of 52 runs with the help 2 sixes and 3 boundaries in 46 balls, next batsman David Miller came to bat and he good strike rotate with Aiden Markram, the fifth wicket was dismissed for 298 runs in last ball of the 48th over, David Miller dismissed for 14 runs in 18 balls, next batsman Marco Jansen came to bat and he was dismissed very quickly just in 1 ball without scoring as 6th wicket in 48.2 overs, the team score was 299 runs, followed by Wiaan Mulder came to bat and remains unbeaten for 12 runs in 6 balls with Aiden Markram, and Aiden Markram played a very brilliant unbeaten half-century inning of 52 runs with the help of 1 six and 6 boundaries in just 36 balls. In this way, South Africa scored 315 runs in the stipulated 50 over and set a strong target of 316 runs for Afghanistan.

In this way, the entire team all-out just for 208 runs in 46.3 overs and lost the match by 107 runs.
South African bowler performed very brilliant bowling, Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets for 36 runs in 8.3 overs, Wiaan Mulder 2 wickets for 36 runs in 36 overs, Lungi Ngidi 2 wickets for 56 runs in 8 overs, Marco Jansen 1 wicket for 32 runs in 8 overs, and Keshav Maharaj also got 1 wicket for 46 runs in his spell.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH- South African batsman Ryan Rickelton was selected as the player of the match, he played a very brilliant powerful century inning of 103 runs with the help of 1 six and 7 boundaries in just 106 balls.
