About Today:
Morning always begins with a new energy for me. After waking up in the morning, I first prepare my breakfast. Today I made my favourite breakfast – hot tea with anda and paratha. While having breakfast, I scroll a bit on my phone or sometimes I think about my upcoming tasks. This is that time for me when I plan my day and feel a little motivated.
After having breakfast, I take care of household chores. Cleaned the kitchen, folded clothes, and organized the living room a bit. Household chores can be a little hectic but when everything is clean and sorted, there is a different kind of satisfaction. After cleaning up the chores, I took a relaxing shower with warm water. This moment gives me a fresh start and makes me feel ready for the day's work.
Then I spent time with my family. We all sit in the lounge and talk about daily life. Family time is very important for me and I love talking to my family members and enjoying their company. Today we shared old memories and had a lot of laughter. I really love my family from the bottom of my heart and every moment spent with them is special for me.
I spent the evening relaxing. I revised my pending work and university lectures. This is a necessary routine which helps me in exams and assignments. After finishing work, to relax a bit, I made my favourite tea and watched a Pakistani drama. The story line of the drama was quite interesting and I feel such small breaks balance the day.
My night routine is always a little peaceful. After dinner I spend some time with the family, we all share our day's experiences together. I like this time a lot as there is a unique peace in it. Then if there is some pending work, like university assignments or preparation of a project, then I try to complete it.
After completing the work, I keep some "me-time" for myself. Today I did a little scrolling, then followed my skin care routine – washed my face and applied moisturizer. This small self-care activity makes me feel relaxed. Before going to sleep, I pray and organize my thoughts for the next day, so that the morning starts smoothly. Then I go to bed, get ready for a light sleep, and think that life brings a new surprise every day.
After dinner, I spent some time with my younger brother and sister. Small talks with them and their jokes always make me happy. Today, they shared some interesting stories from their school, which were very fun and funny. I feel that this casual bonding with family makes the day even more special. Then, I helped my mom in the kitchen and also talked with her throughout the day. I always remember these moments, because these are the real peace of life.
At the end of the night I read my favorite book. I love reading books at night because it takes me to a different world. Today I was reading a fiction novel which was very engaging and I did not even realise the time. After reading the book, I wrote my diary – writing down my thoughts and experiences of the day is in itself a fun thing. It is a routine which makes me feel mentally relaxed. Then I got ready for a good sleep, wondering how the next day would be and what new experiences it would bring.
