I started my morning with coffee and friends sipping on a smooth and frothy cappuccino. It was a perfect start to the day with good coffee and great company.
Then, I took a little walk around campus capturing a few photos to remember the day.
The weather was perfect – cool and refreshing without the usual heat but still dry enough to make everything feel calm i snapped some photos of the department building, looking clean and bright against the sky.
The quiet atmosphere around the campus made it even more peaceful, giving me a moment to relax before settling into my study session.
And of course I couldn’t resist taking a few cat pictures.
There’s always one curled up near the entrance looking totally content and calm. It’s like the campus cats have their own daily routines too, and catching them lounging around added a smile to my day.
Once I felt refreshed, I headed to my Human and Computer Interaction class. Today, we focused on the concept of mental models, which was fascinating to learn about.
Our professor used the example of a train reservation system to explain how people’s expectations can shape the way we design user interactions.
I learned that a mental model is like a person’s internal understanding of how something should work – we discussed how important it is for interfaces to match these expectations, making things feel smooth and intuitive for users.
Ending to a day filled with productivity , coffee with friends and enjoyment, combining study progress, campus memories is worth all.
