It looks like the other 80% joined Russia. 🇷🇺

Very True.

Yeah, but that's before you tell them how much taxes they will be paying. Meanwhile, up to 24% of Canadians are open to the idea of Canada joining the U.S.: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/canada-join-u-s-poll-1.7434317

Correct … those 24% Canadians are Communist Russians and want to move to USA which is now Communist Russia working for Putin. Trump, Vance, Hegseth, Tulsi, RfK etc all love Putin.

I don't think any of those people have a particular love of Putin but I could be wrong. I can say that stealing billions in taxpayer money to send to Ukraine year after year after year feels a lot more communist than reducing the size of the Federal government by firing lots of mostly useless Federal employees.

Don't get me wrong. The war is Putin's fault. I'm not defending him. Just saying that it isn't (or shouldn't be) the job of the U.S. and its taxpayers to fund and/or fight every war on the planet. The line in the sand for us should be our NATO allies. Not every country on Earth. I mean we could keep sending billions to Ukraine until they run out of people to die I suppose. But unless we are going to commit US/NATO troops and to World War III (where we would all likely be losers), I don't see Ukraine winning that war. Continuing to send money and weapons to Ukraine will just lead to more senseless death on both sides.

So, while I have no love of Russia, I've been mostly supportive of the direction the U.S. has taken in trying to achieve some sort of peace vs. funding a war with no end in sight and no clear achievable objectives. Whether there can be a peace that both sides can agree to remains to be seen. If not, Trump has already said he will continue increasing sanctions against Russia and despite a pause earlier in March, Russia loving Trump continues to send weapons and aid to Ukraine.

You are right about the U.S. and Canada becoming more communist though with government making up 34% of the U.S. economy and over 40% of the Canadian economy and with the Canadian government employing over 20% of Canadian workers (that number, at least, is better in the U.S. at below 2%).
