Prologue
The morning fog clung to the trees as a group of samurai stood in silence beneath their leaves. The distant sound of drums echoed throughout, marking the coming of their enemy. Each samurai’s golden armor glistened in the early morning light, their faces calm but their hearts excited for the coming battle.
Their leader is Godly-Rich Sama, a veteran samurai with scars across his face. His right hand rested on the hilt of his katana. He looked at the faces of his men—some young, others veterans like himself, their eyes expectant.
"Minasan," Godly-Rich said, his voice calm, "Remember, we fight not for glory or vengeance, but for something extremely more important."
Beside him, Logen, the handsome new recruit, adjusted his helmet. His voice trembled slightly, but he quickly recovered, his eyes nervous and excited.
“Sensei,” Logen whispered in a squeky voice, “What are we fighting for? Nan desu ka?”
Godly-Rich looked in a distance as if thinking of something wise to say. "Why SPS and Merits of course and Crowns to upgrade our guild buildings!" he answered.
"Nani!?" Logen was shocked. "I thought we're fighting for honor and duty? Aren't we ready to die today?"
Godly-Rich looked at Logen skeptically, already regretting recruiting the new guy. "Baka! (Stupid) Why did you leave your old guild again? Are you sure you weren't kicked? No one is dying today, we're fighting in a guild brawl to have fun and earn some tokens. Don't be so serious."
Logen hung his head in embarassment, his fantasies of glory fading.
Then the rest of the Immortal Gods 4 Guild were ready, their katanas drawn. They see the enemy approaching as the fog was dispersed by the winds, marking the start of the Brawl. Godly-Rich raised his katana high, he looked at his men as he uttered one word: "Hajimete." (Begin).
A New Guild
So I joined a new guild, the Immortal Gods 4 and this is my second Brawl in my new guild. The first was atrocious as I only scored 2 out of 6 but now it's a bit better. I contributed 5 out of 8 for a decent performance. We earned some merits, SPS and crowns. I'm having fun in my new guild.
Our guild scored 249 points placing us in the middle of the standings.
Buying Gladius Packs
I have enough merits to buy 4 Gladius packs from the Guild Store. These contain powerful cards that you can use in Brawls and in certain rulesets.
Opening the Packs
Today was a great pull. I got 3 epics (all Edith Emberstar) and a gold legendary!

Conclusion
Guild Brawls is another fun part in Splinterlands. Aside from another potential earning from Guild Brawls, you can also develop camaraderie and friendship that extends to other games. If you are not a member of a guild yet then head to the Splinterlands discord chat and apply to one.
