Hello Splinterlands Summoners! I'll be sharing some battles in the new season. But first let me talk about how I'm preparing for the move of Chaos Legion to Wild League and the incoming new set, Conclave Arcana.

Losing Chaos Legion in Modern

We all know that Chaos Legion will soon move to Wild League and most of us have been using this set in battles in the Modern League. To prepare for the loss of my bread and butter in Modern, I have been grinding Glints to build my Rebellion reward cards. So far, I'm more than halfway--maybe around 80% to where I want my rewards collection to be in.

Let's check out my collection:

Common

All my common cards are at level 5 and I'm already content at their level. It would be nice to have them at level 6 but it's not necessary. These cards are already competitive at Gold League in their current level.

Rare

Except for 3 cards, my rares are at level 4 and that's the level I want them to be in Gold League. I still need both Earth cards and Razorhound in level 4 but I only need a few BCX to do so. I'm positive I can level them up before Conclave Arcana comes.

Epic

Except for Khazi Conjurer and Shock Trooper, I'd like my epics in level 3. I have much work to do to achieve this so I'll keep on grinding and focus on levelling these cards.

Legendary

I only have one legendary card which was a lucky pull (not from guaranteed legendary chest). I didn't prioritize this since not having legendaries have no negative effect in my game yet. However, once Chaos Legion is gone I may need the Rebellion legendaries in my collection so this is definitely a work in progress. Once I'm done with my epics then I'll work with my legendaries next.

Conclave Arcana

To prepare for this set, I'm buying DEC while it's still below peg. I hope that by the time Conclave Arcana comes DEC will be closer to peg giving me a discount.

My Status this Season

I already reached Gold III from Silver I and working my way to Gold II but it's not easy since there are a lot of strong opponents. My reward chests from reaching Gold III upgraded some of my cards.

Battles

I usually skip battles but there are some cards that I enjoy watching because of their abilities and destructiveness. These are Fina Voxom and Olivia the Brook.

Battle 1: Fina Voxom vs Katrelba Gobson

In this battle, Gladiator cards are allowed and I picked the Fire Splinter to use my level 2 Fina Voxom. My opponent chose the Earth Splinter and has a good synergy of cards. He has two sneak attackers with Double Strike ability and these are flanked by cards with Martyr ability. It seems to me that a level 5 Katrelba Gobson is as good as any legendary cards.

Battle 2:

It's a pleasure to watch Olivia the Brook in battle. She's an abilities collector and gets stronger the longer the battle goes on. This battle with Equalizer and Born Again rulesets will be a long one. In this battle Olivia the Brook will shine as she copies the abilities from the opponent as the battles goes on.
