Hello Splinterlands Summoners. It's season end again and it's time to spend Glints and open reward chests. This season, I reached Gold II and earned over 80k Glints.

Buying 300 Minor Chests

I like opening chests and this time I'll be spending 60k Glints on the first batch of 300 Minor chests. I'm hoping to upgrade some cards, get some merits and maybe get lucky with a legendary card.

From 300 minor chests I got a total of 107 cards including one epic and over 8k Merits, I didn't get lucky with a legendary though.

For 2k Glints, I also purchased the first batch of 2k merits.

Spending 10K Merits

I now have over 11k Merits which I'll spend 10k to buy 5 Gladius Cases. Each Gladius Case contain 5 cards with one guaranteed rare or higher.

Opening 5 Gladius Cases

I got lucky this time. I got one legendary card, Jini Guise. She is an Earth Splinter who deals magic damage and provides an armor to the team like Queen Mycelia.

Upgrading Cards

With my card haul this EOS, I can upgrade a lot of my cards. All of my rares are now level 4 and some Gladiators cards including Captain Katie are upgraded.

These rare cards all got important upgrades. All of them gained abilities after upgrade that will be useful in battle.

Gladiator cards were also upgraded one level but they only gained stats.

Final Thoughts

It has been a rewarding and fun season. My common and rare cards collection have now reached the level I wanted them to be. All that's left now is to upgrade my epics and obtain some legendaries.
