You presume I don't make stuff and give it away. Let me enlighten you:

First of all, in a utopia, there would be no need for capital/ism. However, we're not there yet.

I have to pay rent, buy food that I cannot grow myself locally, buy fuel for the car and pay all kinds of bills, especially if I want to travel to the pyramids, go skiing in Switzerland, do other worldwide exploring and pay for the things my kids want to do/have.

I have planted over 100 fruit trees in my community here which provides food for hundreds of families. I do not expect anything in return and I even make deliveries to the locals. I also build and provide FOSS repos for other developers worldwide who might be able to make a better mousetrap out of the things I have built, which in turn can benefit humanity in various ways and even provide the solution to freeing ourselves from the beast system.

So, if someone on the other side of the planet wants to buy my product, pay the ridiculous shipping fee and I make enough profit to make some more of them, awesome. It also makes me feel good when people are able to get some enjoyment thousands of miles away from the things I build, and for that, in this current beast system, I have made the best of what we have to work with.

So, you are correct. We do not NEED capitalism or globalism.
But... let's produce a better world for everyone by using the beast to destroy the beast.
