today was all about food vibes i had the most delicious korean hotdog and some loaded matka fries and let me tell you it was a whole journey of flavors and crispy goodness hehe >3
first the korean hotdog was such a treat they dip the sausage in this thick batter which is like a mix of flour and a bit of sugar then they roll it to coat it completely and oh my god it gets fried until golden brown the moment it hits the hot oil it starts sizzling and the batter gets crispy while the inside stays juicy and tender!!
but wait the best part is how they coat it after frying they roll the hotdog in sugar and drizzle it with ketchup mustard and sometimes even some melted cheese the combination of sweet crispy batter and the savory sausage is just chef's kiss seriously you need to try it to understand how amazing it is!!
the texture is perfect when you bite into it there's this satisfying crunch from the batter and the softness of the sausage inside it’s like a flavor explosion and oh the cheese pull when you get one with mozzarella cheese in it it’s so satisfying seeing the gooey cheese stretch as you pull it apart!!
we also had matka fries and let me tell you these were not just any fries they serve them in this cute little clay pot which keeps them warm and crispy for longer the fries are perfectly seasoned and fried until they’re golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside!!
what makes them extra special is the topping they pour over a generous amount of melted cheese it’s like a waterfall of creamy cheesy goodness covering every fry sometimes they add some herbs or spices on top to give it more flavor the cheese stretches with every bite and it’s so creamy and rich!!
the experience of eating from a matka makes it feel so rustic and fun you dig into the pot and every bite is cheesy crispy and oh so satisfying it's not just fries it’s like a comfort food experience!!
oh and we had to get some dips on the side ketchup mayo and a bit of spicy sauce the combo of crispy fries warm cheese and cool sauces was everything the fries were so loaded that by the end of it we were stuffed but so happy!!
