it all started when i stumbled upon an abandoned park late at night. you know the kind of park where the basketball hoop creaks in the wind and you can almost hear the whispers of ghostly players who forgot to call it a night. but hey it was open and i thought why not. i was alone just me the dimly lit court and a haunting silence that could make even the bravest street dog reconsider life choices. so naturally i did what any sane person would do i played!!
there i was dribbling in the dark trying to dunk in a hoop that felt a million miles away. every bounce of the ball echoed into the empty night like it was narrating its own horror story. should i be worried i thought. is this the point in the movie where something jumps out from the shadows. but nah i shrugged off the thought convincing myself that if i did get haunted at least the ghost would learn to play basketball. sharing is caring right!!
halfway through my games i suddenly felt like i was being watched. i turned around quickly expecting to see a figure in the distance but nope just the wind playing games with my overactive imagination. great i muttered now i’m the star of my own spooky thriller :)
i should charge admission fees for this!!
fast forward to the next day i was passing by the same park still wondering how i survived my late-night sports adventure without a werewolf encounter. that’s when something caught my eye a bright bold splash of orange and red. a cluster of flowers standing proudly near the edge of the sidewalk. they looked fresh vibrant and oddly cheerful like they had missed the memo that parks could be creepy at night!!
one particular flower stood out staring back at me as if it knew i had been there the night before playing solo basketball in the dark like a maniac. well at least someone’s happy to see me i thought. if flowers could talk this one would probably say you again. don’t you have better places to haunt. i snapped a picture because it’s not every day you find a flower that looks like it has a personality!!
walking away i couldn’t help but laugh at the irony. one night the park felt like the set of a horror movie and the next day it’s a scene straight out of a nature documentary. life really knows how to keep things interesting. and just like that i left thinking maybe i should start a new trend spooky late-night sports followed by wholesome morning flower!!
