My excitement was at its peak since the night before my sister's birthday. The first thing I did when I woke up in the morning was pack a beautiful gift—a big poster of his favorite superhero and a book. He loves these things a lot, so I bought these for him in advance.

I reached my sister's house shortly after noon. However, I had a lot of trouble while going because my sister's house is a little far from our house. We moved out of our old house and moved to a new house, which is why we had to cross the field to get there. The story of going to buy a birthday cake

Today was my eldest son's sister's birthday. The house has been decorated since morning. বোনের ছেলের জন্মদিনের আগের রাত থেকেই আমার উত্তেজনা ছিল তুঙ্গে। আগে থেকেই সবকিছু রেডি করে রাখার একটা প্ল্যান আমার ছিল তবে বোনের সাথে বিষয়টা আমি শেয়ার করলেও বোনের ছেলের সাথে আমি বিষয়টা কখনোই শেয়ার করিনি বিশেষত এই কারণে। ওকে চমকে দেওয়ার জন্য বিশেষ কিছু করবো ভেবেছিলাম। আমার ভাবনাগুলো একেবারেই অন্যরকম হয়ে থাকে আমি একটু চঞ্চল টাইপের তাই সবকিছু একটু গোপনে করতে অনেক বেশি পছন্দ করি। সকালে উঠে প্রথমেই একটা সুন্দর উপহার প্যাক করলাম—ওর প্রিয় সুপারহিরোর একটা বড় পোস্টার আর একটি বই। এই বিষয়গুলোর অনেক বেশি প্রিয় তাই এগুলোই ওর জন্য নিয়েছিলাম আমি আগে থেকেই।

দুপুরের পরপরই বোনের বাসায় পৌঁছলাম। যাওয়ার সময় অবশ্য আমার অনেক বেশি কষ্ট হয়েছিল আমাদের বাড়ি থেকে বোনের বাড়ি একটু দূরে আসলে আমরা আমাদের পুরনো বাড়ি থেকে বের হয়ে নতুন বাড়িতে চলে এসেছি যার কারণে মাঠ পেরিয়ে সেখানে যেতে হয়। গিয়ে দেখি ঘরভর্তি সাজসজ্জা, বেলুন, রঙিন কাগজ, আর ছোটদের জন্য তৈরি করা চমৎকার এক কেক টেবিলে রাখা। কেক দেখে আমি অনেক বেশি আনন্দিত ছিলাম কেননা এটা চকলেট ফ্লেভার ছিল যেটা আমি অনেক বেশি পছন্দ করি ছোট্ট তোহা (বোনের ছেলে) তখন সবার মনোযোগের কেন্দ্রবিন্দু। তার প্রতি সবার ভালোবাসা আনন্দ উপযোগ সবকিছু মিলিয়ে কোনরকম আয়োজন। লাল-নীল নতুন জামা পরে সে হাসছিল আর ছুটোছুটি করছিল। তার সাথে অনেক বেশি গল্প করছিলাম।

গেস্টরা আসতে শুরু করল, আর কিছুক্ষণ পর কেক কাটার সময় হলো। মোটামুটি আমাদের রিলেটিভ সবাইকে ও আমন্ত্রণ করেছে আসলে আমরা বড় করে যদিও করিনি তারপরেও ছোটখাটো ভাবে মোটামুটি বলা যায় খুব সুন্দরভাবে করার চেষ্টা করেছি। তোহা তো মহা খুশি! কেক কাটার সময় সবাই মিলে "হ্যাপি বার্থডে" গাইলাম, সবাই মিলে আনন্দ করতে লাগলাম এরপরে কেক কেটে তোহা হাসিমুখে কেক খাওয়ালো, আর আমরাও মজা করে খেলাম। অনেক মজার কেক ছিল চকলেট ফ্লেভার আমি পছন্দ করি এটা আগে থেকেই বোনকে বলে দিয়েছিলাম।

এরপর শুরু হলো ছোটদের জন্য গেমস। ঘরের ভিতরে সুন্দর একটা মাঠ তৈরি করে ফেলেছেন সবাইকে যার মতো করে প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করে দিয়েছে। ওরা দৌড় প্রতিযোগিতা, মিউজিক্যাল চেয়ার খেললো, আর শেষে একটা ছোট্ট ম্যাজিক শো হলো আসলে একটু অন্যরকম ভাবে সবাই আনন্দ করতে তাই আগে থেকেই সবকিছু ঠিক করে রেখা হয়েছিল, যা দেখে বাচ্চারা তো দারুণ মজা পেল! আমার কাছে অনেক বেশি ভালো লেগেছে একটু পরে দেখলাম আম্মু চলে এসেছেন।

সব শেষে উপহার দেওয়ার সময় এলো। সবাই এক এক করে তাকে উপহার দিতে লাগলো তোহা যখন আমার দেয়া উপহার খুলে দেখলো, তার মুখে এক বিশাল হাসি ফুটে উঠল! একেবারে অবাক দৃষ্টিতে তাকিয়ে থেকে হঠাৎ করেই“ওয়াও! এটা তো আমার পছন্দের সুপারহিরো!” বলে সে আমাকে জড়িয়ে ধরল। ওর খুশি দেখে সত্যিই মনে হলো, দিনটা দারুণভাবে সফল হয়েছে। আমি জানতাম ও সুপারহিরো অনেক বেশি পছন্দ করে তাই ওর জন্য আগে থেকেই কিনে রেখেছিলাম শুধুমাত্র এই দিনটার অপেক্ষায় ছিলাম ওর মুখের হাসি আমার জন্য অনেক বেশি স্পেশাল ছিল।

রাতের খাবার শেষে সবাই ধীরে ধীরে বিদায় নিতে লাগল। যে যার মত করে এক এক করে বাড়িতে চলে যেতে লাগলো। আমিও বোনের কাছে কিছুক্ষণ বসে গল্প করলাম, গল্প করতে করতে অনেকটা রাত হয়ে গেল তারপর বাড়ির পথে রওনা দিলাম। সারাদিনের হাসি, আনন্দ, আর খুনসুটি মনের মধ্যে এক সুন্দর স্মৃতি হয়ে রয়ে গেল। এই স্মৃতি আমি কখনোই ভুলে থাকতে পারবো না।

জন্মদিনের কেক কিনতে যাওয়ার গল্প

আজ ছিল আমার বড় ছেলের বোনের জন্মদিন। সকাল থেকেই বাড়িতে সাজসাজ রব। মা রান্নাঘরে ব্যস্ত, বাবা বাজারের জিনিসপত্র গোছাচ্ছেন, আর আমি পেয়েছি এক বিশেষ দায়িত্ব—কেক কিনে আনার! যদিও আমার সাথে বোন যাবে কিন্তু তার পরেও এই দায়িত্বটা পেয়ে নিজেকে অনেক বেশি ভাগ্যবান মনে হচ্ছে।

মাকে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম, "কোন কেক আনবো?" মা বললেন, "চকোলেট ফ্লেভার হলে ভালো হয় আমি নিজেও অনেক বেশি খুশি হয়েছি কেননা আমি নিজেও চকলেট ফ্লেভার থেকে কেক খেতে অনেক বেশি পছন্দ করি।, কিন্তু খুব বেশি মিষ্টি যেন না হয়!" দাদু ও বললেন, "দেখিস, ভালো ব্র্যান্ডের হয় কিনা!" ঠিক বোঝেনা সবাই এত ব্র্যান্ড নিয়ে পাগল হয়ে যায় কেন তবে ব্র্যান্ড এর পেছনে কারণ রয়েছে ব্র্যান্ডের কেকগুলো খেতে অনেক বেশি মজা লাগে এবং অনেকটা সফট হয়। আর আমার বোনের ছেলে সে তো খুশিতে লাফিয়ে বলল, আন্টি কেকটা বড় হবে, তাই না?"

আমরা উঠে কাছের বেকারির দিকে রওনা দিলাম। পথে হালকা বৃষ্টি পড়ছিল, কিন্তু সেটা আমার উত্তেজনায় জল ঢালতে পারল না। কেননা এই সময়টা আমাদের সবার জন্য অনেক বেশি স্পেশাল ছিল। শহরের সবচেয়ে ভালো বেকারিতে গিয়ে দেখি, নানা রকম কেক সারি দিয়ে সাজানো। অনেকগুলো কেক যেগুলো দেখে আমার কাছে অনেক বেশি ভালো লাগছিল এর মধ্যে রয়েছে। চকোলেট, ভ্যানিলা, স্ট্রবেরি, ব্ল্যাক ফরেস্ট—সবই আছে!

অবশেষে আমি একটা সুন্দর চকোলেট কেক বেছে নিলাম, যার উপর চকোলেট শেভিংস আর তার নামটাও লিখে নিয়েছিলাম সেই সাথে দেখলাম সুন্দর করে ফ্লেভার দিয়ে লাভ দেয়া ছিল যেটা দেখে আরও বেশি ভালো লাগলো। কেক হাতে নিয়ে যখন বাড়ির পথে রওনা দিলাম, তখন মনে হচ্ছিল, যেন আমি একটা বিশেষ মিশন সম্পন্ন করেছি। এটা যদিও অনেক বেশি হালকা কাজ ছিল কিন্তু আমার কাছে অনেক বেশি আনন্দের ছিল।

বাড়িতে পৌঁছে দেখি, সবাই অপেক্ষায় আছে। কেকটা টেবিলে রাখতেই বোনের ছেলের চোখ চকচক করে উঠল। হা করে কেকের দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকলো। এখন অপেক্ষা করলো আসলে আমি এবং আমার বোন বাজারে গিয়েছিলাম সকালবেলা তবে নিজেদের আরও কিছু বাজার থাকার কারণে আসতে অনেকটা সময় লেগেছিল।। এরপর সন্ধ্যায় কেক কাটার সময় ওর হাসি দেখে মনে হলো, এই ছোট্ট দায়িত্বটুকু পালন করতে পারাটাই আমার দিনের সবচেয়ে আনন্দের মুহূর্ত! মুহূর্তগুলো অনেক বেশি স্পেশাল হয়ে থাকে আর এই মুহূর্তগুলোকে আমরা ধরে রাখার জন্য বিভিন্ন রকম ফটোগ্রাফি শেয়ার করেছি আশা করি আপনাদের কাছে ভালো লাগবে ভালো থাকবেন।
