The November winds are blowing now.
The leaves are spinning and dancing as they fly from the trees.
October was the beginning off Autumn, but in November we reach the conclusion.
The reds and oranges are fading as the grey winter approaches. This morning the ground and roofs were covered in white frost.
Winter is coming.
Today we cooked soup. Butternut squash, there is nothing like a warm soup or stew in Autumn.
The reward of a good harvest.
We will also have pumpkin pie and apple pie. Maybe with a little vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Then after dinner we will take a long walk along the river then come home and light the fire and have a warm drink.
Maybe an Irish coffee.
It looks like we will get some snow later in the week so we put up the Christmas lights this weekend. I think we are ready for the changing seasons.
Winter is coming.
