Police have arrested Omar Farooq Shubh, the expelled vice-member of the anti-discrimination student movement in Feni. He was arrested from the adjoining area of ​​Feni Model Police Station on Tuesday (December 7th) at around 8pm in a case of fraud, extortion and defamation.

According to police sources, Azizur Rahman Rizvi, a student of Dhaka University Finance Department, filed a case with Feni Model Police Station on behalf of Feni's son Azizur Rahman Rizvi. He was later arrested on the raid.

The arrested Omar Farooq Shubh Feni is the son of Nuruzzaman of Jagatjapanpur village of Farhadadagar union of Sadar upazila.
