Hello everyone, Good Afternoon!

This afternoon I will share some pictures that I deliberately looked for spots to take pictures of but not for the purpose of taking pictures of scenery but just small flowers.

Stachytarpheta jamaicensis (Stachytarpheta jamaicensis) is one of the wild plants that live in Indonesia. The name horse whip is the local name of this plant in Indonesia, while the scientific name of this plant is Stachytarpheta jamaicensis. People in the Philippines call the horse racing plant Kandikandilaan and in China it is called Yulongbian. This plant comes from the coastal area of Florida. Horse racing plants are also known as weeds in several countries, the presence of horse racing plants can interfere with the growth of other cultivated plants. This plant usually becomes a weed in plantation areas. The name taji kuda is taken from the shape of the flower stalk and the flowers are shaped like spurs on a horse-drawn carriage. Pecut kuda is a Javanese word which means whip or whip which is often used by coachmen to order their horses to walk, run or stop.

Not only nationally, the mention of this horse-whip plant or flower also applies in our place, but as explained above, this plant is considered a pest and is even included in the category of pests that must be eradicated.

This plant is also very disturbing if it grows in oil palm plantation areas considering that this plant can absorb fertilizer from the oil palm and the results can be zero for maximum fertilization results.

If you look at the flowers of this horsewhip plant, I personally think it's good, the color is very attractive, but if you look at the plant itself, it's very disturbing
