Tahi kotok, cocok Botol, Mexican marigold, or African marigold (Tagetes erecta) is an annual herb that belongs to the Asteraceae family. In Java, some people call this kenikir because it has a similar shape, but kenikir has a fragrant smell unlike tahi kotok. The flowers are in clusters or solitary inflorescences with various colors (yellow to red).

The explanation above is an explanation according to Wikipedia that I read on the website, but in our place it is usually called a golden flower, this name according to my mother is because of its yellowish color, maybe that's the only reason for the name gold.
This flower has various benefits starting from its flowers, leaves and even to the stems of the plant and I have even personally practiced it directly about the efficacy of the flower.
Starting from the leaves which are useful for animal bites, the animals I mean are like red ants, centipede bites that are not too severe and bitten by other types of insects.
