Farewell to winter

Today it is already possible to say goodbye to winter with confidence. The heat has literally collapsed on us and we still do not understand what to put on and put on when it is hot from above, and there is still ice, mud and puddles under our feet. The second day the heat is above +20 C, and tomorrow it will be even warmer.

This is the view from my window with icicles sparkling in the sun. I will explain to anyone who does not understand that March in our strip is always a winter month, and somehow it starts to warm up a little from April. But little by little, with the continuation of frosty days. No one remembers such an event as this sudden heat wave from the old-timers.

Clear spring water will drip from these icicles for a long time. They've been thawing a little for two days now, and they're not going to fall off yet, and we still can't change our clothes. Usually clothes are prepared in advance, but now everything necessary for the warm season is packed and hidden in closets, and no one remembers the exact place.

Until recently, this was the case at the dam closest to our house, which turns the river into a large reservoir. We could cross the river on ice, and fishermen fished on the ice floes. I do not know how it is now, but probably everything is starting to melt, and it is dangerous to go out on the ice. The end of winter fishing!

But to listen to the noise of the falling dam of water and admire this spectacle is available in any season and I will show the appropriate photos, since we often go there to take a break from the problems of the city.

This is the time to end the post of farewell to winter and start preparing for decisive changes in the world around us. Birds, flowers, bugs and butterflies will soon fly in my photo frames.
