Among the violets

All our "English" lawns in the village were suddenly covered with violets. I've never seen so many of them before. Wherever you look, there will be a purple clearing. I took pictures near the house, but violets are now blooming everywhere and even in vegetable beds, where they moved to uncultivated land over the summer.

Until other flowers appear, we will live in a purple haze and inhale the scent of violets. And it's so subtle, unobtrusive, not like the suffocating scent of jasmine, which we have a lot of here, and this smell is starting to bother, because jasmine blooms for a long time. But that will be later, and now we are enjoying what we have, violets.

These violets have moved to a flower bed with a "Sheep's ears" plant, the leaves of which are covered with thick "fur". It turned out to be a very interesting combination of textures and colors.

It seems to me that violets are warmer among this "fur" and therefore they tend to go there. I won't pull them out, let them grow together, because it seems beautiful to me too.
