The time of the first flowers

My favorite flowers are already appearing in the pine forest, which we call: sleep grass (Latin Pulsatílla pátens). I am not the only one who likes these flowers, and therefore, in order to protect them from extinction, they are listed in the Red Book as a protected plant species. It is forbidden to collect them. But I've never torn them up, I just go to them in the woods to admire and take pictures.

This time, several small families and individual flowers were found. They are so fluffy to protect themselves from the cold. Many early flowers create such "fur coats" for themselves.

I always knew what they were called: samsonchiki and only recently discovered the botanical name - Dream grass. I like Samsonchiki more, and the Dream herb comes from their medicinal properties.

Most of the flowers were still unopened and were just about to bloom, and only two flowers that grew separately from the rest I found open. This is how their purple color and orange stamens appeared.

In addition to admiring the flowers, it was just pleasant for me to be in this forest, where needles spring under my feet and pine scent smells.

In the middle of the forest there is a lake with sandy shores and clearwater. It was also a pleasure to be near him to complete the meeting with the first forest flowers.
