Northern Desert

in blurt-177869 •  8 months ago

I can imagine what a desert might look like, even though I've never been to one. Lots of sand, endless horizon and blue sky.

A couple of days ago we were on vacation on the shore of the Baltic Sea. In this place the sandy beach passed into low dunes, and behind the dunes there was again relatively flat sand. But behind the dunes you could hardly see the sea.

It seems that behind the dunes there is not the sea, but also sand and all the way to the horizon. What is not a desert?

Lonely trees on the horizon only emphasized the grandeur of the space.

I also liked the sky a little cloudy with a haze of clouds. If it weren't for the cold north wind .... :-)
