I don't really like mobile photography.
I'm used to shooting everything on a SONY camera with interchangeable lenses. Each lens has its own peculiarities. There are modern ones, there are a lot of manual optics, there are homemade lenses from slide projector lenses (also an interesting topic).
But there are situations when you don't have a lens with you, but you saw something interesting. Something caught your eye. That's when a smartphone comes in handy (if you have it in your pocket, but usually we take it with us, at least for communication).
Yes, the quality of photos taken with any smartphone is inferior to photos from normal cameras. After all, the lens does matter. But you can also get a picture to remember with your phone.
That's exactly the case. I was coming back from a sauna at night and I didn't have my camera with me. The phone's night mode doesn't do a very good job. It lacks shutter length. But due to the internal processing programme the result can be tolerable.
