Raita Recipe
Make a cool and refreshing raita at home. It s perfect as a side dish or dip for spicy foods
Ingredients to be used
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 cucumber grated or finely chopped
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- half teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- half teaspoon chaat masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions to be followed
- In a large bowl whisk the yogurt until it is smooth and creamy.
- Add the grated cucumber, chopped tomato and chopped onion to the yogurt. Mix well.
- Stir in the roasted cumin powder chaat masala and salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- Chill the raita in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
