Homemade Ramen Recipe

Ingredients to be added

  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 package ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon miso paste
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped spinach or bok choy
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 soft boiled egg

Instructions needed to be followed

  1. In a large pot heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the grated ginger and minced garlic and saute for 1 2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 3 4 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and water. Bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce and miso paste Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the ramen noodles to the pot and cook according to the package instructions
  6. During the last minute of cooking, add the chopped spinach or bok choy.
  7. Ladle the ramen into bowls and top with sliced green onions and a soft boiled egg.
